So is HarryVRS (if he decides to come along?), one helluva convoy you could have! ;)

i might be leaving on the sat morning, so i wouldnt be in convoy, unless harry and trevor are going in the morning too.

well i was planning on coming back to essex on the fri night then going down from my area in the morn, i dont think i could handle that much miles in a morning,

last time we had a mini convoy from south mimms services, i hope we could do a similar thing again

Everyone seems to be running modded cars.

I have a standard vRS tdi, is it considered pointless to run this??

Not at all it's all about coming down and enjoying the day meeting new people. Put the car on the Rollers if you wish, there is no pressure (Well not unless makefish gets to you first :D) and it's allways good to have a stock car to referance the rollers with.

Absolutely not, would be great to see you and find out what your car is doing + it keeps the doubting Thomas's quiet by verifying the rollers

mines standard lol. as long as it makes 180bhp and the graph looks nice, i'll be happy. :)

And don't let Mr Fish talk you in to having Revo done.;)He has stocks and shares in JKM you know.:P;)

From what I have seen it's rare to find a standard mk1 vRS pushing 180bhp!!!

I can feel a contest of manufactures quoted figures coming on. What do you think, furthest from manufacturers quoted buys the beers after???:P

Blimey!!!

How many people are on here tonight?

I won't have REVO done yet on either of the cars. Not sure I want my pregnant wife driving anything faster than the 180bhp she already has!

.................... I would'nt put money on it, especially if you pop down to this as there will be plenty of cars that ARE mapped, take a ride in any one of 'em and your wallet will be prised open :D

They don't do remaps on the day anymore I don't think.

See he's started already:rolleyes::D

They don't, but it does'nt stop you from booking it in for one :P

I won't get the petrol done as it is being driven by my wife and is quite fast enough! And from what I have read, there hasn't been enough testing of maps on the PD170 for me to feel confident yet! However, I may be persuaded on the TDi at some point!;) But don't tell SWMBO.

Why do you say this? are they usually under or over?

Im led to believe that they are normally a little under. But honestly i don't know an awful lot about cars and outputs. I'm sure that someone will put me right soon!

But i have heard that the diesel figures are normally more accurate, that Skoda quote.

But who knows, I think it depends on a lot of factors including the RR being used, ambient temperature etc etc.....

Don't mean to cause any offence or diss the Tavia. I love em!

There was no offence to be caused mate :) I was inquisitive myself, though I under the 180 figure is PS rather than BHP anyway

Could be. Im not even sure about the difference of the two.

I have checked out the JKM RR day photos and seen that there aren't many standard cars on there.

However, there is a standard Lean Cupra FR which should be running 180 but showing 171 instead. Would be interesting to see though.

RR's under read as well as over read :) Like I say, its all about the graph for me - no point having a graph with not alot space below the line.

You not joining us for breakfast then Gerry?, we are planning something closer to Portsmouth for about 8:00am and would hope that you would be there.

Steve, I'm dropping "ER" indoors off at her sisters in Winchester before coming down to Pompey, so to get to Pompey for 08.00 would mean leaving home at "Silly-O-Clock", and I dont think she'd go a lot on that.

We all met there before and it worked out ok.
