Stu, the torque from the old mk1 was impressive, and having had two ducatis, I'm all into big torque, so I do put the emphasis on that rather than power.

It's kinda like me know on my push bike or when I play rugby, big gear, give it a fistful of torque and get moving!

Hiya, just joined on here this week and bought a Fabia vRS today - could I join the RR day at JKM please?

Owned an Ibiza previoulsy and JKM have been my garage of choice for that and went on the last RR day there with the SCN boys and it was very good.

Be great to see what the new car is doing.

Tom, post #180 says "those currently on standby WILL get a run although that list is now closed". MAXIMUM will be 22 + the 3 on the standby list so currently we have room for just 2 more.

i might be pulling out due to reasons i dont want to discuss on here.

Yeah, go on then. I'd like to run my car please Mr Makefish :).

Not sure yet if going to come down the night before or leave Brum early in the morning, trouble is 149 mile drive down..... should only take an hour thinking about it:P

Early morning drive down is the best bit. I love the A35 from Honiton down to the South coast when there's nothing else about. :cool: I think the 100 mile journey will take me around 90 minutes, bearing in mind much of it is just 60 limit, with a few villages to slow down for. :)

i reckon on it taking me about 4 hours for me.

Saying goodbye to my Mk2 Ibiza Cupra this week (a great 6 years with it) and collect my Fabia vRS 56 plate in Black Magic tomorrow! :)

What time will we need to be there then? I should get a short lie in as its only about 50 mins drive for me:o )

Picked up the vRS today! Ibiza should go next day or so.

Found the mentioned 'stutter' on the vRS already I think, but all is good so far.
