resonated or non resonated???

Only ever in a controlled environment of course!

Alot depends on what you want from your exhaust, some buy for style others for sound and then there are people that want both.

I don't think the VRS sounds as it should (too quiet :thumbdwn:) and will be going for the blueflame to just deepen the tone when I change mine although I'm hoping the Revo map on friday will go some way to changing the note :D

I know someone with Revo stage 1 re-map. The engine sounds the same, but the turbo sounds different and you can hear it working harder. The car picks up much quicker and you are mean't to save fuel because you get to the speed limit quickly. probably the best horsepower per pound about £400 gets you the same Audi TT 225bhp.

thats what they say but cant see you gettin 225 from a generic map,

custom maybe along wi a zorst.

still i love mine gives a lovely warble in tickover, low down the revs it sounds ace and when you gunnn it it is even better, nice and deep but settle to a cruise and you cant tell its there unlike some cheap crap boyracers put on there cars,

I'm considering purchasing a used Milltek system, and it has the 3' downpipe. I am currently totally standard, bar a K&N panel filter.

I do plan to get a remap this year sometime, but I do not intend to change the turbo or anything like that.

My query is will the larger bore of the 3' downpipe have any effect (good or bad) on a standard turbo, or is it something not worth thinking about?

Cheers

its all good mate, the vid on the other page is still running the k03s and a stage 2 remap n bits n pieces :orb_raisi

go for it ...
