312mm Brakes now on!

Featured Replies

Firstly a few thanks:

Steve (Golf Turbo for sourcing them), Steve (Young Syd) for doing an amazing job on the painting and preparing them so well for going on, and lastly to Jabbasport for fitting them today.

Having only driven 90 miles since having them on, I cannot give exhaustive commentary, but they really are MILES better than the standard ones. Immediate bite and massive stopping power  Highly recommended!

Looking good

I got some (grey ones) in a box downstairs hope they look as good as that when I get 'em on :)

how much did jabbasport charge to fit??

once they're bedded in - you can try doing "motorbike stoppies", lol.

What brake pads are you running?

Cheers

^^^ behind white wheels :D

312's look ace behind the standard wheels

I wouldnt like the idea of having 312's behind the standard 16's. for two points really

1- arent there heating up / cooling down issues with having brakes so near to the alloy??

2- Its a bitch to clean the alloys

Also did you install the longer brake hoses??

Yes they had longer hoses...

Thats why you take wheels off to clean them Jasc!

am definately wanting a set of these!!

Look great behind the standard wheels

Just gave mine the second coat of paint this afternoon, and will hopefully have time to fit them a week on Monday. Can't wait, even though I never actually get to drive the Fabia!:D
