i don't know about others but my opinions of the fabia's performance comes from personal experience of driving alongside them on track and at meets and yes some are quick but definitly not all conquering

CTR Drivers - one born every minute?

I think thats answered my question then, a fabia with a hybrid is quick, it struggles with traction, bloody good fun, upsets owners of other makes and isnt as fast as a CTR :P

Well today i am one step closer to finding out just how quick they actually are, look what MR TNT brought for me today

I ran mine on the Standard map for a few months till I had time to get the Stage 2 mapping completed. No problems at all.

are you gonna be at trax this year dave? would love to go up against you just for the fun of it and i would love it if you beat the crap out of me or i couldn't catch you as it would give me someone to chase as thats the best thing about being on track, its not the over taking as such, its not the being faster than someone else its the challenge of trying to catch someone

and if you were to be faster than me i wouldn't be making excuses of misfires and bad tyre choice's etc etc i would say fair play wasn't that a giggle!!

I think they have, looking at the last few posts, TRAX 2008 at Silverstone is the time and place that will see the Fabias take on all comers. Maybe we can persuade a CTR owner to join in the fun?

not wishing to sound cocky or over confident Gary but Jason in his fabia wasn't any issue 2 years ago and you lot are going to be running the same setup and power(sort of) as he was then and i *should* be running in the region of 100bhp more by trax so your fabia shouldn't really be a match but Dave's car is the one that could do it, he has far more promise than you two

either way it'll be great fun and we can all sit around afterwards having a burger and a can of coke chatting about and talking about how fast/slow the other cars were

why the facination with trax.. there must be loads of other events with loads more track time - or are you all a bunch of 1 lap heros?

Im looking at sorting a day @ Teeside (where they hold some of the drifting) its about 1.1 miles perfect for Fabia's so defeating them there will be decisive....

It will be fun, I am right looking forward to it, not just to get on the track but to meet more people who share the same interests. Will be cracking and hopefully my little fabia wont get left behind by the big boys

I wont just be taking the fabia to trax, i will have my other toy too, hopefully.
