Can't seem too find anything via google, we need Noob_VR too have a look as he seems too find allth uber geek stuff for us :rofl:

Haha

Yes, I had the same fruitless Google search earlier too...

:coder:

31.0.017 was released on the 12th January for the N95

The N95 8gb is still on 30.0.018 which was released on the 3rd September

Any details on what's in v31?

Cheers,

Steve

Changes/improvements made from MCU SW v 30.0.015 to v 31.0.017:

- Fix for occasional start-up problems

- Fix for Music Player background skin problem

- Embedded N-gage games in User data memory / C-drive are now updated

when upgrading software with NSU (Nokia Software Updater)

- N-Gage baseline update

- Maps 2.0 baseline update

- Flash lite 3.0 baseline update

- General error corrections & quality improvements

- SW support for new memory HW components

V30 was slow for me thinking about it. I was noticing a slight pause between functions.

Done 31 today and its much faster :thumbup:

software update failed :(

Now upgraded, so will see if I can notice the difference :)

Grrrrrrrrrrr at new FW, I cant update mine as it will wipe Field Test from it but really annoying as the battery only lasts a day with minimal use, locks up all the time and is generally a pain in the ***. All of which I believe updates have helped or fixed.!!

Steve

All I want is for mine to communicate with my Alpine HU! A problem that neither Alpine or Nokia seem to want to take ownership of. Ah well...

Steve

Mine is updated. Seems exactly the same. What should I be noticing?

Seems a minor updates with just a few more bug fixes and improving reliability. See Decron's post above for a list (#132).

Steve

 updated earlier

thankfully Tiscali stayed connected this time

Seems a minor updates with just a few more bug fixes and improving reliability. See Decron's post above for a list (#132).

Steve

Yeah the list is sufficiently vague enough, it doesn't really tell you any real detail. Thats the info you get from Nokia at a technical level too
