Painting upper and lower front grill

My Superb is in black magic and I was thinking of painting the upper and lower black plastic front grills to match the body work.

I would leave the chrome trim as is and add the additional grill trims, for both, from SuperSkoda.

 

I've seen topics before on painting the front grill, but can't currently find any Superb specific ones.

 

Anyone done this before?

Thoughts on how it would look?

How easy is it it to remove the grills and existing chrome trims?

I know Superskoda will sell you a black top grill part thats looks pretty cool:

Otherwise just ask your local panel beater/paint shop.

Thanks guys; I'll give those a look.

 

Spoke to a couple of bodyshop places - they recommended against painting the grill itself, as any stone impacts would have the paint shattering due to the type of plastic

Not sure if that's true or not!

Hi there, I changed mine a couple of weeks ago for the top black chrome and bottom surround.

I will try and add pictures later.

Makes the car look meaner also 4x4 side mouldings all from superskpoda
