How do you set the mileage when you buy a new virtual cockpit? This is the most important thing because I must set it before I drive the car while it is still 0. How do I set it to the same mileage that was on my old instruments?

Virtual cockpit retrofit in progress, how do you pull the instrument cluster? I've removed the dash trim, and found the two screws at the bottom. The workshop manual says to use a hook to pull on the 2x tabs (I think they mean the 2x tabs that the screws go through?) but this thing seems seriously lodged in place. I don't have the official hook. Is there any trick to it?

Took a full vcds admap of module 5f, Removed the MIB2 columbus unit and screen and installed columbus MIB2.5 with 9. 2 screen which I got from ebay. Took a full vcds admap of new unit, used winmerge to compare adaptations and set it up properly for my car as my old MIB2 was, updated nav maps to 2021, updated to latest firmware, installed mib toolbox, tomorrow will do component protection removal and enable video in motion

OK, so I just found this on a coding site, a folder of xml files for the superb 3 6d bootlid module marked 'remotekeyclose' probably need odis to send them to the car. since I have odis.. will test hopefully tomorrow. they were alongside bootlid paramaters for version L of the bootlid module, so since I also have version L, I'm hoping this will all be goodremotekeyclose.zip

I don't have a double button (yet) Bootlid module is j hardware flashed with l software and l parameters, but really I think the bootlid module doesn't play a big role in this at all. 05 is CG 05 was the important module for kick to close, there's an adaptation there specific to close, I pmed you the details.

Ignore that, Verdecksteuergeraet means convertible car, nothing to do with virtual pedal. I found the option you need, which also helped me get kick to close working on my retrofit 😊 It's in module 05 ENG126956-ENG154581-Byte9_VIP-Coding_kick_and_close_function

All working finally, with kick to open and kick to close

Note in your 09 BCM module, @JR RS has version CG hardware, running CG software and he has the adaptation ENG141634-ENG142259-Verdecksteuergeraet-Kick_and_close present, and set to 'installed' @bubib5, you seem to have version AN Hardware running AS software on this module, and I don't see that adaptation there. I can't say if it's the issue or not, just an observation

Not exactly "correct"... Notice one of the aerial coax cables is taped in with the wires that go to the head unit, but in the superb there is no aerial near the head unit, also one of the aerial wires in this kit is super short. Thirdly notice there is no double fakra connector, so it's not possible to attach the 3x aerials cables supplied here to the superb tuner which has a double fakra connector

Any chance of showing where exactly there's a good chassis earth point for this in the engine bay? I was looking for somewhere to clamp the neg to and didn't see an obvious good place
