  1. Yeah, thought I'd seen that colour on a Fabia before.
  2. This video may help if it's the remote opening type....
  3. Inside the driver's cubby box. Pull the compartment right down past its normal stop....
  4. More helpful videos, including the levelling motor in part 2.....
  5. superfluous post
  6. Handy video....
  7. Standard halogen for yours should be one of these...
  8. Yeah, new lamps don't usually come with the levelling motors but as sepulchrave says, they are very easy to swap over. They are a twist fit and there is a ball on the end of the adjusting rod that you slide into a socket on the reflector. https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/
  9. The handle is not telescopic on Mk1 Fabias. The mechanism that adjusts the height is part number 6Q0 881 053 B
  10. Nothing can happen if you drive it with no PAS apart from the steering being horribly heavy.
  11. No probs at all
  12. Thinking it might be item 7 in the above diagram but not 100% sure.
  13. Maybe one of them on here?.... https://volkswagen.7zap.com/en/rdw/polo+derby+vento-ind/po/2005-253/1/145-145045/
  14. I've been looking but struggling to find it. The number is usually stamped into the plastic.
  15. I've never had to open a deadlocked door (yet) so can't really answer that question. Have seen people butcher the plastic on the lock unit in order to manually manipulate the mechanism.
  16. Have you done any work on the passenger door that's caused it to stop working or has it just failed on its own? First thing I'd be inspecting would be the door bellows wires and connections at the multiplugs between body and door on both sides. It's pretty difficult to say what might be wrong with it. The solder joints on them can break down due to the shocks of opening and closing the door over the years. The electronics in the driver's unit can fail. The wiring in the door bellows can break. The little DC motor inside the lock can give problems. There are five microswitches that all have to work....
  17. No problem mate, I only added the pic a bit later
  18. Yes most have the filler caps hidden under the battery box because the combined pump/reservoir unit is under the N/S/F wheelarch and the lid pokes through a hole in the inner wing.
  19. A cheap code reader will tell you the codes and allow you to turn off the light. Engine light is often lambda probe faults. I have this one....
  20. Just for info, the pipe connector is 6Q0 121 065 H O-rings are still N 90890501
  21. Interesting, you have the one without the aluminium pipes. You don't have to worry about those then. Someone might have converted it. You have the type I posted earlier...
