  1. Rubber hoses should be going to the aluminium pipes unless yours is different. Any chance you could post a pic?

  7. ^ That's a pic of the pins. Ignore the big yellow arrow, that's the immobiliser pins.
  8. Yeah, cluster can't be swapped without having the immobiliser programmed.
  9. Yeah, sounds like that kind of trouble.
  10. The handbrake light also functions as a low brake fluid light, so you might want to check the fluid level. EDIT: Oh wait, I missed the bit where you said with the ignition off. That is odd.

  13. If it's a 1.4 petrol it won't be an MPI as they only went up to 2003.

  16. Yes, BKY, BUD, BBZ engines are all 1.4 with the same coils....
  17. There isn't one. The bearing has a locking springy thing attached to it....
  18. Also have a look at this one and see how the guy locates the handle at about 1:20....
  19. Check out this video at 20:40. You will see what the lock end of the cable is supposed to look like in situ.....
