  1. I can certainly empathise with you. For me, one thing after another has gone wrong this year and at times I just want to collapse in a heap and cry. Sometimes it's so hard to see light at the end of the tunnel. Hope you're OK dude.
  2. Did you adjust the little bowden cables properly? The handle ends of the cables have teeth on them to enable adjustment so that only a tiny bit of slack is present. Here is a pic of a front door cable but pretty much the same as the rear....
  3. Halfords sell an A/C O-ring selection that may have the right size in it.... https://www.halfords.com/motoring/engine-oils-and-fluids/air-con/halfords-air-con-o-rings-187396.html
  4. The 3M restoration kit worked great on mine but despite regular application of headlight protector after the restoration, they went cloudy again. In the end I fitted new headlights. 3M kit.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/312424519307
  5. My pads came with wear sensors. I just cut the 2 wires off.
  6. Coolant temp sensor? Any fault codes?
  7. Slider pins are 28Nm for FSII & FSIII calipers. Pins are 7mm Allen for FSIII which are on the 1.4 MPI. Disc size is 256mm. There are no other caliper mounting bolts as the pins go straight into the hub casting....
  8. Last time I took a diesel car in for MOT they warned me that they would have to rev it up really high and asked for my permission to do it. It was a Sierra 1.8 turbo diesel, so shows how long ago it was, haha. They stuck a temp probe down the dipstick tube and then revved the nuts off it for the 'smoke test'. I don't know if they still do that but maybe it could be a reason for advisory of low oil level? Or something along those lines
  9. OK, well the part number is Kilen 23106. Think there is plenty more on ebay. EDIT: Never mind, you found some
  10. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334078517834?fits=Car+Make%3ASkoda|Model%3AFabia&hash=item4dc8a1a24a:g:R~cAAOSw~0Rg8NVu
  11. Well it's not your fault if the listing is wrong. I feel gutted for you as I know how much hard work it is, especially in this hot weather. I fitted Kilen branded ones on mine and they are fine.
  12. That number comes up as Skoda cross reference 6Q0411105AA On ETKA they come up as ''models with heavy duty suspension''.
  13. What brand springs are they and do you have their part number?
  14. Ah, OK. I agree with others that it can only be the springs causing it. Your headlamp alignment might be too high now too.
  15. Is this on a 1.4mpi? Why are the springs orange, are they some kind of sporty ones?
  16. You should be able to easily align the regulator dowel hole with the hole in the metal door panel by moving the regulator up or down with the winder handle. If this is not the case there is something else wrong. Maybe the regulator is catching on something inside the door after you replaced it?
  17. Yes, 72mm bearings on cars with power steering, which is all UK cars.
  18. Fair enough. Mine has never done it. Maybe some base models don't have it programmed.
  19. Have you tried pulling the belt right out and polishing it with Mr Sheen or similar? Makes a big difference on mine.
  20. Only on cars with A/C I think. Just for reference.
  21. 2009 is MK2 Fabia. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/forum/113-skoda-fabia-mk-ii/
