  1. Regarding the oil cap - here's a pic of the engine cover with auxiliary cap clipped underneath....
  2. They did. There are drain holes in the bottom of the doors like all cars. There are factory foam seals on the back of the metal carrier panels that are not very good and allow water to leak past them before it gets to the drain holes. This problem and the solution has been known about for years. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/2158-warning-fabia-door-leaks/
  3. It's not clear from your description but has the car had the door carriers sealed up? If not, here's a video...
  4. There should be a cap provided from the factory for use during servicing. They are clipped to the underside of the engine cover. You might find that it is missing, though. The cap is the same as was used on the Felicia 1.3. Part number 047103485. New caps usually come without the rubber seal which is 047103487
  5. I just noticed your rev counter needle doesn't move during cranking which may suggest an electrical or sensor fault.
  6. Do you know what the fault code was? The N80 purge valve itself could be faulty or it could be a sensor fault like the cam position sensor or the crank angle sensor. Hard to say without codes.
  7. I've just replaced all 8 grommets under the cills on mine as they were starting to perish. Those ones are N 102 265 01 (30mm). They are very cheap, flimsy plastic.
  8. 1K0 899 185 (40mm) is correct for the spare wheel well.
  9. Had a dig round your older posts and seems your car is 2007? If so, I think it should be this one... https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/fabia/fab/2007-453/7/721-721060/
  10. It does sound like the pedal unit is faulty.
  11. ^ Looks lovely! Hope you put that driveshaft nut on, though
  12. Is there any good advice? Yeah, post it in a readable format.
  13. It uses the same key on mine
  14. Unfortunately, that type can't be repaired. You would have to get a new lock with keys. Like this.... https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/6y0898168e-right-lock-insert-skoda-19058.html
  15. My fuel door is like that as standard but the cap has a lock on it. Your cap might have been replaced with one without a lock.
  16. This is sort of what the wire mesh stuff would have looked like before it disintegrated.....
  17. The file you posted wouldn't open for me - said it needed additional codecs or something. Anyway, I don't care for your attitude and will steer clear of you in future. End of.
  18. I think your wife's Fabia is a 2005 model going by one of your previous posts? If so, the shields are items 10 here.... https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/fabia/fab/2005-453/6/615-615026/#10
  19. That's the thanks people get for spending their time and effort trying to help you is it? What do you want - a refund? You've had the car since new in 2002, so after 19 years you decide that the pedal throw doesn't feel right and there must be a stop missing even though it's always been exactly the same from the day it left the showroom 19 years ago - you having a laugh or something? Didn't you ask Skoda about it earlier in the car's life if you thought it wasn't right?
