Yeah but that's nothing to do with the crank sensor, all it does is measure the crankshaft rotation speed. Slow cranking is to do with starter motor/battery/bad connections.

That is bizarre. The crank sensor has nothing to do with cranking speed.

Make sure you inspect them very carefully as the cracks can be vitually imperceptible. Give them a wee poke.

Not really. Check the big strip fuses on top of the battery as they are known for cracking. The jolt could have affected the ABS one.

Sounds like an abs sensor or the wiring to it. Had the same on mine with a duff offside sensor. Have you got a code reader?

Those bump stops always rot away. Both of mine were broken like yours when I first got my Fabia.

Yes, it's worth checking as they do like to break, although it's more often the drivers' side door which obviously gets the most use. You can see the broken yellow/green wire I had on mine......

I'm not sure. Done two of them and never had this problem. The only way you'll find out is to strip it down again, unfortunately. It's a pig of a job at the best of times.

Sounds like it's catching on something or there is too much resistance. Is the window sitting properly in the two clamps?

I don't know what spam unlock & spam lock means but it sounds like your passenger door microswitch is faulty. Could also be the wires inside the door bellows.

Put a bottle into my Talbot Sunbeam 1.3 years ago. Didn't seem to do any harm but probably was a waste of time.

Apparently, they are awful for normal road driving.
