Good work 👍 What's the aftermarket looking relay for that's mounted on the (right in pic) strut tower?- Fabia door locks
Yeah, it's a metal cam with a thin coating of plastic which gets shredded by the microswitch button. I stripped the plastic off my cam, so my replacement microswitch just runs on the metal of the cam, but I grease it with silicone grease every now and then through the door latch hole. Still working ten years later. Relacement switch I used was a Burgess V4NSUL.- Engine mount - vRS - anyone done them?

Wait, is he talking about that little vacuum pipe? Doh!- Missing hose under the engine cover
After further checking, the pipe is definitely a moulded part of the engine cover.- Missing hose under the engine cover
The function of the pipe is cold/warm air intake. I can't see the pipe listed separately on the parts diagrams which makes me think it might be integral with the cover. Slava Ukraine!- Forgive me father, for I have sinned... Hocus Pocus

It's the same with aluminium exhaust heat shields. They often use steel fixings to hold the thin aluminium plates and the plates just rot away around the steel fixings and the plates start rattling or drop down.- Front brake backplate corrosion.
Yeah, dust shields.- Front brake backplate corrosion.
They are not heatshields.- Front brake backplate corrosion.
You'd think they could make them out of plastic.- torque values
