  1. Looking back via the camera on a low light condition road (no reverse gear on, no brake) Now the same view but with the brake pedal pressed (bulbs on) The red led on the top is from my internal antenna (radio).
  2. I remembered a video series from an american garage "from wrecks to riches".
  3. How to Choose Brake Rotors: Blank vs Drilled and Slotted vs Drilled A comparison: https://www.r1concepts.com/blog/how-to-choose-the-right-brake-rotor-pattern-blank-vs-drilled-and-slotted-vs-drilled-only-vs-slotted-only/ I don't think that any of us can make with his Favorit-Felicia disks to crack due to the extreme overheating driving style.
  4. I use brand drilled discs in moto and my car since 1993 till now 2021, never had any issues even in sport-style driving on mountain roads. In USA muscle cars (especially on west-south with high temperatures) put drilled discs, i have seen so many car-upgrade videos with drilled discs.
  5. Was a great mistake that i didn't bought it with the car as extra back at 2000, years latter when i bought it from SP-EL with the installing cost from the electrician was a very expensive upgrade. Nevertheless i feel now more ''hi-tech" with that LCD screen on the dashboard. 😜
  6. We have almost everything here, especially if you know the VAG number is much easier.
  7. In TC-6you can see the fuel consumption (liters per hour) from the start till the speed of 32 km, above this point shows liters/100km From 0-32 km the numbers change every 1-2 seconds and so fast that if you try to pay attention to them the crash with the front car is guaranteed. Unfortunately i haven't travel in highway those days so i have no picture of fuel consumption liter per hour at steady speed of 30 km and above this.
  8. Not allways the traffic is the same, many times even the same route varies (traffic condition). For a guy which travels in a highway for hours what's wrong to count litres per 100 km?
  9. On the right side of the air intake hose there is a different ''item'' on each photos Does any one knows what is on the 1st and what is on the 2nd?
  10. Why? TC-6 has that function but only till you reach 40 km i think on the tachometer, then it measures ltr/100 km so it works only for traffic conditions.
  11. Why? You have +3,9 % difference from the stock 165/70R13
  12. This must be for ''UK drive style" because the battery is on the right side.
  13. 175/60/14 I have Toyo Proxes CF2 tires with Tecnomagnesio rims.
  14. Thank you ! There was no ebay, aliexpress, forums etc when i bought it so i had to improvise-work by myself a lot. Those new buyers have it all from the factory.
  15. Here is another instance, you enter your car at heavy rain and you want to put the reverse to leave from the parking (road) What to you see from the rear mirror? Nothing but you have to put the reverse. Here is the danger, behind you is a scooter and since you have no visibility at all you are going to throw it down but with the parking camera everything is fine. I envy those guys which already have from the factory a screen on their dashboard.
  16. Youtube search: Rear window heater repair You can find many videos with details.
  17. https://forum.retro-rides.org/thread/169335/1995-skoda-favorit-foreman-pick Maybe you can get an idea.
  18. Update Few days back we had heavy rain and inevitably for me means: blur in the windows, traffic, low visibility front and almost nothing on rear. Pushing the button for the rear glass resistance does not help me at all because it takes too much time to clear the whole windows and meanwhile i already have arrived at work,, i am a lucky gay and my work is not far away from home so no matter if a open the rear resistance till arrive at work the rear window will just have some lines cleared. I have use some products in the past but since the root is short these don't work good. All these years i have huge problem because i can not see anything from the rear mirror, here is a characteristic example: Here is what i can see via the new mirror, the camera helps me to the maximum extent ! My only visibility was the side mirrors but now i am more confident in the rain and in next post i will show how the rear camera helps on parking those days with heavy rain.
  19. Very nice photos of Favorit. https://www.skoda-storyboard.com/en/press-releases/skoda-favorit-entering-era-success-30-years-ago/ plus the Rally car. https://www.skoda-storyboard.com/en/images/?_search_type[]=image&filter[history][]=favorit https://www.skodamobil.cz/en/120-let-motorsportu-1/page-20 Respect for our ''father''.
  20. To be honest i drove daily a Favorit for few months at 1993 and the speakers were on the door, i didn't knew the older pattern.
