  1. Yes grey colour as the sides of the seats, door handles etc. The factory console was flat with 2 holes as cap holders or for coins. On the console was a detached box with handle, you could pull it out and carry it with you. https://www.autobazar.sk/foto/skoda-felicia-family-1-3/19074054/#galeria-9 You could ask for another console as extra parts, was this one I bought the second because i knew that i will make a modification with extra gauges etc and that shape helped me more.
  2. Yes that's it, that's the way i bought it (the front windows were already installed) and when i said i want the mechanism to be transfered in the rear the electrician said Ok can do it. In my recentrly window jack change the guy told me that there is no reason to keep the motor, does not fit in other's brand mechanism The parts from brand to brand are not interchangeable.
  3. @Papez : i havent see switches like yours, even the panel is different. @Thefeliciahacker : which cable? The original cross section was smaller.
  4. https://www.soundstreet.gr/picture_library/51586.jpg These are fiting to our Felicia but the led is white, thankfully the seller says it.
  5. Here is a characteristic example: are like mine (stock) but nowhere says about the colour of the led. Few years back i bought 4 of them and i thought that they were green colour, one click before the purchase i asked the seller to test them and i saw that the led was red. Of course i didn't bought them otherwise would look very funny among the other switches.
  6. I grease their rails few yeasr back when i opened the cover to install insulation They are slow but i rarely roll them dowh. The mess is on the switches, yes you can find as the originals or other shape that fit (same pin) but the colour is different ! For example you may buy 2 for the front windows and the led colour could be red or white or orange and the other 2 maybe are green. The is no indication of what colour is the light so if one is broke for example don't bait that the new will be the same colour, talking by bad experience.
  7. I have 4 because all my windows are electrical, the front (very slow by the way) here from the ''factory'' so i asked for my electrician and transfer the 2 front mechanisms to the rear and i installed 2 new on the front. Those on the front were from Electric Life and one still works after 20 years (the other as you know is changed).
  8. You are refering to the 4 switches lower on the central console?
  9. FYI in that case means: pay parking for many days, remove the door panel, make a diagnosis of what parts you need. Buying from SP-EL means delay on email, money send via bank transfer (more delay plus fees), waiting for shipping from CZ, waiting for the parcel to artive, staying in the line in the Post Office, intalling. This my friend means risk, at least 2 weeks delay, high cost.
  10. The same with my car too so don't worry. On the other hand does anyone knows for what that plug is? Is empty since the first day and i don't know what can be connected there.
  11. I have use in the past 2 Electric Life window jacks so when the problem occured was the first choice. Ready to buy, brought by courier to the repair shop after few hours, installed by the electrician, nice price. I left my Trusty at 9:00 and took it ready at 13:00 to go to work.
  12. Weird, i bought mine at 2000, GLX edition with A/C ,front electric windows (not the rear) plus the others like yours (No ABS and airbags due to the high gap of price). Do you use G12 from the beginning? I will take a photo from that black plug from my Trusty to make a comparison.
  13. The difference between a simple heat shrink cover and one with glue inside is huge per meter. 0,40 euro the first but 6,20 euro the second. ⛔
  14. Repair kits are for some brands and few models only. For Skoda Felicia the codes are: 6U0837461: drivers side, Electric Life ZR SK14 L 6U0837462: passengers side, Electric Life ZR SK14 R Other brands are LIFT-TEK, MIRAGLIO, PMM, WAI global etc.
  15. Yes but it's better than nothing. I know that there are some insulation brands that sell heat shrinkable covers (we call them Macaroni here in Greece as a joke) with silicone inside as a glue so every time you heat it with a head-gun this seals everything. The drawback is that you can not open it for example an inspection. Here is an example: Description: 3M MDT-A is available with a layer of specially designed hot melt adhesive. The glue is spread during the extrusion of the pipe, thus achieving a very smooth, continuous adhesive coating that ensures perfect tightness.
  16. Here is how the background looks in a semi-lighted parking. Here is how it looks via the camera on parking mode. Keep in mind that i haven't press the brake pedal (more light from the bulbs) or engage the R gear (some light plus from the bulb) If i have done these the view would be better so think of this dash cam mirror especially if you park at night on alleys etc, could help you a lot from bumper damages.
  17. In every modification i have made the last years the rule for the cable is one: Protection No matter if its spiral or heat shrinkable cover i never let cables unprotected. I have bought such materials from hardware store (in case that i am working by my own) and every-time i go to the electrician the last remarks is ''cover every cable".
  18. Geia sou Patrida mou ! You don't have a/c right?
  19. As ex-Scout i am a Felician ''who is always ready to help others and do a good deed every day". In Skoda we Trust ! 🤝
  20. A mechanic which make a correction to the radiator cover push some cables more that it should be, the tie-wrap broke and those cables rolled down The pulley belt touch and ruin them, i discovered the problem when i was on the run (burned fuse plus no lights) and next day i had to go to the electrician to make an extension and secure them tightly.
  21. The whole mechanism had shown some signs of ''suffering" the last months and when it stuck i was expecting for some parts to be replaced but didn't happened. A local seller had the whole kit and i was lucky that it didn't happened when i was in travel otherwise i would have a huge problem.
  22. I saw this on Mustang 1969, the scoop lets some air to bypass so the blower can have some. Low quality photo (snapshot).
  23. I am fan of such modifications but i would choose an analog gauge in green colour. If someone does not want to mess in dashboard work can put it in the central console or (for better visibility) in the drivers coloumn as the "turbo guys" do. Nevertheless if it's tested and works then OK, congratulations for the project !
  24. Women with high heel shoes are the main ''guilty'' on damaged clutches.
