  1. @Alshut this seems to be a typical error of faulty EMMC. I can try to repair it if you deliver it to me to Poland, if this is what I suspect then cost of repair is 120 GBP plus shipping, if the unit is BER (Beyond Economical Repair) then I can find a replacement unit for you. Pls contact me on PM if you are interested.
  2. Fully digital. Only OEM sat nav, no Android Auto / Apple Carplay in instruments cluster
  3. So now you have Columbus MIB1, with Bluetooth, with DAB, without SIM, part number 5E0035020C, with USB 5Q0035726C and unfortunately you have CANTON sound system. You can install one of four different OEM glove box units: - MIB2 Bolero - MIB2 Amundsen - MIB2 Columbus - MIB2.5 Columbus You don't need to replace display unit unless you want to go with Columbus MIB2.5 as for MIB2.5 Columbus the only display unit that works is 5E0919606D If you woulkd like to use Apple CarPlay then you also have to replace USB port. Unfortunately you have to replace also CANTON power amplifier. New amplifier must be coded online by Skoda dealer or someone with ODIS ONLINE account for Skoda. The question is what is your budget and which of listed below features are "must have": - Video playback from DVD, USB, SD - CD playback - OEM navigation - displaying OEM maps in Virtual Cluster (Active Info Display). All units support SmartLink (Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink), rear view camera, voice command. features that differ them: - MIB2 Bolero - no OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB - MIB2 Amundsen - OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, no support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2.5 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster)
  4. @hauserjoci pls share your VIN so I can check details and prepare options for you.
  5. If glove box unit is faulty then new unit can be prepared in Plug&Play version.
  6. It looks like it's a glove box problem. WIthout dedicated tools (at least UART) you can't say what the root cause is.
  7. Yep, sorry, I forgot it, you need VCDS, OBD Eleven, VCP, ODIS or VC Tool to enable develope mode.
  8. Nope, you install it as a regular firmware update (as long as you have unit with oem sat nav - and you have it )
  9. @Cdrmihh it's normal. You have to patch your unit first. Google for MIB STD2 Toolbox
  10. Unfortunately I rather expect glove box unit to be faulty... Pls ping me when you have new LVDS cable...
