Open circuit on all speakers
@Oskark thx for VIN. Originally your car was equipped with 5E0035840A, not 5Q0035840A, so it was MIB1 Bolero. It was also equipped with CANTON MIB1 amplifier 8V0035223. When changing glove box unit to MIB2, e.g. Amundsen 5Q0035874A, you also have to swap CANTON MIB1 amplifier to CANTON MIB2 amplifier 3Q0035466A or 81A035223. Component protection must be removed from new amplifier. New glove box unit must heve component protection either removed or must be patched to have component protection disabled. You have to set byt 04 in new glove box unit to 00 and byte 11 to 02. You have to set adaptation channel "IDE01996-MAS00847-Installation list: specified installations-Digital Sound System Control Module" to "Yes"

Swing to Bolero (or Amundsen) upgrade - CarPlay + rear camera - OEM only - Fabia 3 Combi NJ5
Amundsen = Bolero with OEM sat nav, if you don't need OEM sat nav then Bolero is good enough. 6V0 919 604 B is just a display unit, you also need infotainment reader, e.g. 5Q0035840x (x - any letter A, B or C) or 565035040 You either have to rework or replace dashboard or install infotainment reader in a completely different place (I usually use glove box for it). The best solution is to have the units patched so you don't have to run the officialy procedure of component protection removal. This will also enable you to have all the features activated (not possible officially at all). You just need RVC, harness to have it connected and coding (e.g. with VCDS). Make sure you but patched unit - if you are interested in getting one pls let me know. We are both in Poland...

Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update
Failure rate in MIB2 units, from my experience, is extremely low. No rollback neededif update goes OK, if fails then emergency recovery only.
