  1. If glove box unit is faulty then new unit can be prepared in Plug&Play version.
  2. It looks like it's a glove box problem. WIthout dedicated tools (at least UART) you can't say what the root cause is.
  3. Yep, sorry, I forgot it, you need VCDS, OBD Eleven, VCP, ODIS or VC Tool to enable develope mode.
  4. Nope, you install it as a regular firmware update (as long as you have unit with oem sat nav - and you have it )
  5. @Cdrmihh it's normal. You have to patch your unit first. Google for MIB STD2 Toolbox
