  1. New unit must be patched (hacked) to have new features activated. MirrorLink is already dead and it worked ONLY with very few Android based phoYes, you already have the latest version MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 (0490)
  2. So now you have Bolero MIB1, with Bluetooth, without DAB, part number 5E0035819A and fortunately you don't have CANTON sound system (as your Bolero has no MOST). You can install one of four different OEM glove box units: - MIB2 Bolero - MIB2 Amundsen - MIB2 Columbus - MIB2.5 Columbus You also need to replace display unit: - for MIB2 Bolero you can use either 6.5" model number 5E0919605H or 8" model number 5E0919605N - for MIB2 Amundsen and MIB2 Columbus you can use listed above display as well as 6.5" model number 5E0919605J, 8" model number 5E0919606, 8" model number 5E0919605M - for MIB2.5 Columbus the only display unit that works is 5E0919606D If you woulkd like to use Apple CarPlay then you also have to replace USB port (if you have Media In interface instead of USB then it must be replaced with USB anyway). The question is what is your budget and which of listed below features are "must have": - Video playback from DVD, USB, SD - CD playback - OEM navigation - displaying OEM maps in Virtual Cluster (Active Info Display). All units support SmartLink (Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink), rear view camera, voice command. features that differ them: - MIB2 Bolero - no OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB - MIB2 Amundsen - OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, no support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2.5 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster)
  3. Su you have Blues radio, without DAB, without Bluetooth, part number 6V0 035 872, with AUX port 5Q0 035 724 and USB port 5Q0 035 726 B. The cheapest unit for you shoudl be SWING part number 6V0 035 871. You will also need a microphone part number 3Q0 035 711 B and harness to connect it to SWING. Upon installatiopn, component protection must be removed either by Skoda delaer or someone who has ODIS ONLINE account for Skoda and unit must be parametrized (coding and adaptations) to match your car's equipment.
  4. If Bluettoth is all you need then unit for you is Swing, if you would also like to have SmartLink then indeed you need Bolero or Amundsen which includes display unit and glove box unit so is more complicated but still possible - several users have already done it. If you share VIN then I can provide more details.
  5. Being in your shoes I would rather think about some OEM unit. What are th efeatures you are looking for?
  6. Not possible for your unit 😞
  7. Me too... just move it from 11 to 12
  8. Pls share picture of your multimedia unit or at least VIN of your car.
  9. Assuming your car is Fabia Mk3 then how adapter dedicated for Renault can work with it?
  10. Unfortunately I have no firmware for MIB3 units 😞
  11. @Bramb you already have the latest version. What are you missing in your unit?
  12. The question is if you have unit with built-in OEM sat nav (Amundsen) or without (Bolero) - this can be done in both but in Bolero it requires unit to be open, soldered and some files modified in EMMC.
  13. It will not work for you as you have unit without navigation (Bolero).
  14. THis is just indication, you need to connect diagnostics tool (VCDS, VCP< OBD Eleven, ODIS, VC Tool) and read error codes
  15. I am pretty sure you have: Google for MIB STD2 Toolbox
  16. @dhandley you already have the latest available firmware installed @Starca pls check your PM
  17. part number and SW version of your current unit?
