A four year warranty starting in Sept 2022 will run out in Sept this year.

Mines only done 70K, so not had a hard life by any means. Had cam belt and pump done at 8 years old, doesn't use any oil between services, no oil leaks, DSG faultless. All major engine components original. 60 mpg average.

If you select eco mode, this will give you the coasting function.

Is it re-generating more than normal?

I'm keeping mine until it needs an expensive repair. It's pretty much 100% reliable, cheap to tax and insurance is not through the roof. The newer cars have more bells and whistles but this has all the basics I need and now I'm only doing about 5K a year it's hard to justify buying another car. The resale value is low, so I'd just sell or trade it in as a non runner.

Two different oils used as well. It also has no service schedule.

When you just press it, it only unlocks the hatch and you need to use the handle to release the catch and lift the hatch. A long press and the hatch "pops" open. It took me a long time to find that feature.

Have you tried doing a hard reset by pushing in the power button for five seconds or so and see if it turns on?
