  14. Honestly Briskodians... Can we give it a rest with these petty arguments and reports. Play nice or I'll have no choice but to lock the topic.
  15. A year passes and any luck? It’s all been discontinued and I can’t find any too!
  16. It can, but is it worth the effort? I don't know, you'll need to know what you're doing. Or, find a company that can install it for you. You'll need; Maxidot Cluster (with code, or someone has to do some wizardry) GPS OEM ariel OEM Skoda DX Satnav unit (this with the correct model will allow the top half of the screen to work, it'll show Radio or tack numbers. Also, the satnav would display directional navigation on screen) TMC module for traffic updates (but not needed) If you're not too bothered about OEM, then I think you can just get away with the maxidot, but only 3/4 of the screen will work. It will not display MPH.
  17. No, but I must make clear that this is on a MK3 Octavia (sorry).
  18. I started to notice it on my own last year, and asked about it. Also asked a master tech at Skoda who says it’s quite common. After searching around the forums it does appear to be very common. I’m just dreading the day I have to cut open the LED unit at the back to change bulbs!
  19. Completely normal, especially with temps at this time of year. It will soon disperse once the lights are on and the headlight heats up.

  21. Does it look like past owners have jacked the car up in the middle of the rear axel? They should have a stick stating that it should be jacked up. Although, I imagine most have fallen off by now. Not sure if this will be helpful to use as a guide:
  22. The correct way for our MK1's is to use the ABS system via VCDS to and bleed that way. Be sure to bleed the master cylinder, there are TWO bleed nipples. When I had done mine, my pedal sunk to the floor until I found the 2nd bleed nipple.
  23. Please use this topic for firmware updates and questions. This topic is about model numbers of infotainment systems.
