  1. I’ve had them on my current Kodiaq and they’ve proved to have been grandkid proof for the past 3 1/2 years. I’ve ordered them again as part of the kids pack on my awaited next Kodiaq .
  2. 140kW = 190hp STY is probably short for Style
  3. Do you have wheel spacers fitted, or do the Sportline wider wheels stick out a bit more and not look like they are tucked into the arches, especially the rear, as my current SEL is.
  4. I went Race blue, think it suits the Sportline. Pondered Meteor grey, but every Audi/ VW seem to be this primer colour and I think it will go out of fashion quickly. I also thought of White again but my current Kodiaq and previous Yeti have been white and thought time for a change. Certainly been easy to spot the big white beast in a crowded car park, hope the blue is as easy. I quite liked the Velvet red but Mrs R doesn’t like red cars and says they’re almost invisible when it’s dark. Don’t forget the Velvet red is a £380 option.
  5. Can just see it now, “ Did you ever own a VW/ Skoda EV? , did the heat pump not work as expected? Claim now, no win no fee. Contact us now “
  6. Kenny R replied to Alanphe's topic in Skoda Karoq
    That, or the owner
  7. The alcantara in the SEL and Sportline is way better than slippy, hot in the summer and cold in the winter, ( till they heat up) in the winter leather seats. The Sportline has a lot standard that make it the better deal than adding options to a SEL. Yes the headlining is black in the Sportline but wouldn’t say it’s gloomy, you could always add the sunroof. I currently have a SEL but have ordered a facelift Sportline this time.
  8. That would be “ simply clever “
  9. Bit off topic but always remember advice given the first time we went to Florida with Freddy Laker, so you’ll know how long ago that was. Any way, after arrival and in transfer coach we were given the usual welcome speel and does and donts and the one thing they made a big deal of was not to do the “ Brits” thing and turn the air conditioner in the rooms right down as the evaporator freezes up so you don’t get air flow/ cool air and also you’ll end up with puddles in your rooms.
  10. 1) The headlights on tell tale is on the light switch 2) You don’t say what model you’ve got, but if you’ve got auto light there isn’t a problem. 3) Very useful “ cat’s eye “ lights that provide subtle lighting at night 4) The dash lights going dim are Skodas gentle reminder that it’s dark enough to have you headlights on, again if you have auto lights and leave the switch in auto you won’t see this again.
  11. The brochure I’ve got from December 20 states travel assist pack includes traffic sign recognition, adaptive lane assist, predictive adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, and dsg models get emergency assist for £675
  12. In that case, did you put in neutral, instead of reverse and car started to roll?
  13. It’s called manoeuvre braking and you can turn it on or off in the parking and manoeuvring menu.
  14. Remember you will need to add delivery from Czech Republic and possible import tax to that price. Have you checked the prices from your dealer, lots of toys available….
  15. I believe the factory closes for holidays during July, and this is when they refit the factory for any model updates, so very much doubt any will be built this week.
  16. I’d find another dealer that at least has some knowledge of the product he’s trying to sell.
  17. I would check that the towing weight section of the sticker on the drivers door pillar is actually filled in. There are posts in other sections that the tow weight is 0 on some stickers so a tow bar cannot legally be fitted.

  19. As your L&K will have LED headlights all you need do is select travel mode under the lights menu.
  20. I’ve just ordered one of these, hope it fits my Kodiaq when it’s delivered.
  21. Nice choice, not in the least bit jealous I ordered a facelift Sportline on16th June and was initially informed it wouldn’t be delivered till December. Received an email last week saying that they are now expecting it to be delivered sometime in September.
  22. Thing is though, people in hot countries don’t try to turn their cars into mobile fridges as some here do at the first sign of the sun. I’ve kept the ac on auto and temp set to 19-20°C 24/7 365 in the last 4 Skoda cars I’ve had and never felt too hot or come to that too cold in any of them, come hail rain or shine.
  23. The alternator does not charge the battery as in ye olden days. To save fuel etc the alternator tends to switch off and only charge on the overrun. It also only charges the battery to around 80% to allow capacity for it to accept charge when you lift of the accelerator etc.
  24. The Skoda boot mat is doubled sided plastic one side carpet on other side to which these elements stick.
  25. This post might help.. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/310872-skoda-yeti-paddleshift-retro-fit-pre-post-facelift/
