  1. Don’t know anything about car lifts, but if you go down the Quickjack route, Costco has them cheaper.
  2. So instead of one manual per model Skoda would need to produce probably 100 manuals to cover the model variants and the different combinations of options that can be added times the 11 different models that Skoda currently offer. So that could end up with over 1000 different manuals. Think I’d rather have a manual that covers all the options I’ve chosen than find I’ve been given one for a basic model and doesn’t cover what I’ve got.
  3. Why not just google it? https://voltas-it.helpshift.com/hc/en/3-obdeleven-android/faq/385-what-is-sfd-protection-1611749918/?p=android&s=general-1594103008&f=what-is-sfd-protection-1611749918&l=en http://www.vag-com-espanol.com/EN_SFD-Manual_for_UMB.pdf
  4. My sons Enyaq 60 has Hankook ventus prime summer tyres fitted. My Kodiaq has Pirelli Scorpion seal inside tyres and these are summer tyres also. As far as I know no Skoda models come with All Season tyres fitted.
  5. Not sure what a tale of a towbar that hasn’t been fitted/coded correctly has to do with driving in Europe with LED lights.
  6. That’s the message I got today from dealer, that they got from factory system.
  7. Well, latest update from factory/dealer my Kodiaq is scheduled to be built next week and dealer still expecting delivery by mid September.
  8. If your not using any equity to purchase another Skoda, it’s easy enough to get a settlement figure from Skoda/VW finance. You will get a better price from We buy any car or Motorway etc and they will clear your finance and forward any excess fund to your bank account.
  9. There should be two clips, one each side, on the edge nearest the seat. Just pull the mat up and it will unclip.
  10. It may not look like much damage but if front assist system etc need recalibrated then it’s an expensive business. Best put a claim in on your insurance and insist repairs are done at somewhere that has the proper equipment to calibrate systems.
  11. Not much good if your rolling along and give the accelerator a quick jab expecting it to go and it’s slipped into coasting mode.
  12. As per link in above post, factory is closed till at least the 23rd August, so unlikely to get any meaningful updates till then.
  13. This doesn’t look good, posted on the Skoda configurator today…
  14. Message on the Skoda configurator today….
  15. Message on the Skoda configurator today….
  16. Where was the level the last time you checked and how long ago was that?
  17. Kenny R replied to Matternoddy's topic in Skoda Karoq
If you can open your car with the key in a faraday pouch, either the pouch is useless, you haven’t put the key in the screened section of the pouch, or your second key is in range of the car.
  18. Must be something in the air, I’ve been very surprised to achieve over 40mpg the last few days on a short trip away.
  19. If the map data has never been updated, it would be well worthwhile visiting the Skoda update portal and downloading the latest 2021/2022 maps.
  20. The latest infotainment systems in the Kodiaq do not have SD or SIM card slots.
  21. Strange, as I mentioned in my previous post the ECE 2021/2022 update from the Skoda portal worked perfectly on my 32gb SD card same as all other previous updates.
  22. The front assist is usually the radar sensor in the centre of the grill. Dirt, flys snow ice etc can cause the sensor is impaired warning. At least it is on my Kodiaq.
  23. It will be in their Christmas night out fund now

  25. Apparently there are a limited number of operatives that maintain all of Tesco fuel stations and they have been changing the pump labels to E10 well in advance in some cases, so they can get them all done before the September change over even though the pumps are still dispensing E5 fuel.
