Automatic gearbox issues
Push the start/stop button without your foot on the brake pedal.

Automatic gearbox issues
Certainly sounds like you were in eco mode on that occasion and activated the kick down. On your other comments that the gearbox hangs on to gears and revs excessive, perhaps you are pulling back on the gear selector when selecting drive and engaging sports mode.

ASR Off (?)
If ESR/ASR is deactivated you should have a yellow warning light on the dashboard depicting a car and squiggly lines.

This article was posted in the octavia section yesterday … https://www.newsy-today.com/due-to-the-lack-of-chips-skoda-auto-employees-will-remain-at-home-even-after-a-company-wide-holiday-ct24-czech-television/

12v Socket in Boot not working since having Towbar fitted
Whoever fitted your tow bar would have needed access behind the rear panels, so they’ve probably either forgot to reconnect the socket when re fitting, or blown the fuse.

Can KESSY be set to auto-lock without touch?
You either have to touch the indent on the handle ( can be done before all doors closed btw), or press the lock button on the remote. It cannot be set to lock doors without doing either of above.

Auto-handbrake when engine turns off?
I’ve got autohold on, and I’ve never used the EHB in my 3 years of ownership, the handbrake has always applied itself. Re-reading your post, if you press the EHB button you are actually disengaging the handbrake, you need to pull it up to apply.

Columbus Infotainment System - Volume Control
The volume bar is only visible when making adjustments and not permanently on my Kodiaq.

Headlamps fogging up
Think you’ll find most cars, and some very much more money than what you’ve paid with LED lights suffer from this problem, and not just Skoda. The other cars you’ve had that had old school glass headlights, ( that were probably banned by elf and safety) , would have halogen or xenon lamps that produced heat that dispelled moisture, LED lights run cooler and all suffer from misting.

Armrest too short?
The arm rest slides back and forward and can be raised up as well.

Karoq headlamp fogging from inside.
Been well covered before, and the owners manual says it’s to be expected.

Updating Map f/ware
The latest update downloaded and unzipped to my 32gb SD card with no problems. Did you format to fat 32?

What is this wire for?
- New scala - alloy / ground clearance question
- Anyone else ordered a new Kodiaq?
I had an update today as well. The dealer is expecting delivery early/mid September, but the arrival date is fluid and can often change with vehicles being delayed and equally arriving earlier than expected. Will provide a more accurate arrival date when car is built and has been shipped.- Battery spec for a 2018 2.0TSI 220 Hatch
Certainly looks old school battery, and they’ve removed the stickers to hide the fact it’s the wrong type battery.- New scala - alloy / ground clearance question
- Low voltage cut off options in boot
Except that the Kodiaq has a micro hybrid/ smart alternator and tries to only really charge on the overrun to save fuel and emissions.- Retrofit rear view
Instructions for superb but would imagine Kodiaq to be similar https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1878948/Skoda-Superb.html?page=18#manual- Rear wiper plastic cover?
It doesn’t look broken, you have to engage the hinged clip first then flip it down to usual position. part No. 1K8955435- Retrofit rear view
The “ high line”camera would have given you more view options and the dynamic guide lines.- EML Constantly on
Find a “specialist “ that actually is and knows what they are doing instead of changing parts willy nilly, and no doubt charging you for the privilege.- Karoq 1.5 dsg 2021 battery discharge
Do you have a dashcam or similar plugged in that would drain the battery. Do you use the car regularly, with a decent run to give the battery a chance to charge. If you are not using the car regularly it may be wise to invest in a charger to keep the battery topped up.- Fan staying on
As you’ve found, you’ve bought the wrong car for short journeys.
