  1. Not sure about the tools, but as long as you have the wire hook for removing front section to allow towing eye to be inserted, locking wheel bolt key and the plastic tongs for removing the plastic caps from the wheel bolt you should be sorted. As above the cargo elements are handy for stopping things sliding around in the boot.
  2. Normal accelerator kickdown action on an auto/ DSG.
  3. Just buy a faraday pouch, job done. You can get a pack of 2 from Amazon for around £7
  4. Easy enough to see what comes standard and what options can be added here… https://cc.skoda-auto.com/gbr/en-GB/trimline-scenic?activePage=trimlines&color=K4K4&configurationId=&extraEquipments=&id=GBR%3Bskoda%3B2022%3BNS73N5%3B0%3BGYO2YO2%3Bmda20210701125825%3Ben-GB%3B%3B62004%3B62064&interior=AD&modifiedPages=&snapshotVersion=2aaa0845-d1c3-4835-a2e8-3232aeb8f64c&trimline=NS3|SE (5 seats)6206462004&visitedPages=
  5. There a lots of mixed posts on here but the latest seem to imply that if the car hasn’t got a tow-bar or at least tow bar prep done at build then the permitted towing weight stamped on the plate on the door pillar will be zero, meaning that you could not legally fit an aftermarket tow bar.
  6. Moon white is certainly brighter than candy white. My Kodiaq is candy white sons karoq moon white.

  8. I’ve just ordered a new Kodiaq and opted for the virtual cockpit this time. It’s way more functional than old school analog dials in front of you and is user customable to some extent. If you Google skoda virtual cockpit, there’s loads of info and videos showing what it does and looks like.
  9. You can get the whole kit from your dealer for £250 https://seat-skoda.caffynsparts.co.uk/parts/skoda-parts/skoda-spare-wheel-kits/skoda-karoq-4x4-seat-model-spare-wheel-kit/
  10. Just got car back, no more noises. Transpires it was only the pump filter that had swarf apparently, and oil drained was clear. New pump fitted and Haldex refilled and tested by them and deemed a success, time will tell. As long as it lasts till December as my new Kodiaq is due then.
  11. Very useful it is too.
  12. Noise from Haldex/ rear diff when slowly manoeuvring either forward or backwards with full lock on. Started shortly after Haldex oil was changed and pump mesh filter cleaned and steadily got worse.
  13. There’s a lashing eye under the boot reversible rear floor section.
  14. I believe it’s only the 5 seater that has the rails and hooks. The 7 seater only gets the 2, (one each side) fold out hooks.
  15. Even getting the oil changed and pump filter cleaned @ 14,500 miles as in my case is no guarantee you won’t get problems. My Kodiaq has been sitting at the dealer for almost a week with what looks like Haldex failure with metallic swarf found in the drained oil and pump filter.
  16. If your not fussed on waiting on a facelift, there will be some new unregistered current models available to dealers.
  17. I’m on a PCP and the great price they offered for my car is guaranteed till my new car arrives in December or whenever, so no being without a car.
  18. You must have bought yours around the same time as mine as I got the good dealer/ Skoda deposit contribution and Free petrol deal when I bought mine. Prices have gone up on the new facelift and the dealer/ Skoda deposit is now only £2750 till the end of this month. As to delay’s I ordered a new facelift Kodiaq Sportline 2 weeks ago and delivery is not expected till December.
  19. So have you any warning lights on with the engine running. The engine management light will stay on till the engine is started as it can’t tell the engine is ok if the engine is not running!
  20. If there are no fault lights on when you are driving, there is no fault. Every car I’ve had, the warning lights come on when you turn on the ignition and extinguish when the engine is started.
  21. Parking pack basic is still on the configurator, and that basically exactly the same as the salespeople use.
  22. I seem to think dual mass flywheels come in at £200-£300, so I would say that that price is only for the clutch.
  23. You’d be better comparing the 5 seat/ 7 seat boot space before choosing a spec you don’t really want. Depending on what options you want to add an SE could easily become more expensive than an SEL, and for the slight increase in boot space starting with 7 seats, even though you don’t need them, might be the better option. I ordered a new facelift Kodiaq Sportline last week and delivery is not expected till December.
  24. If you have just purchased and the oil needs topped up, take it back to the dealer and get them to correct.
  25. My diagram as said is an example from a Kodiaq manual, your proper locations will be in your manual.
