  1. I think you're talking about the cornering lights. At night when turning the steering wheel left or right, the corresponding fog light comes on an acts as a cornering light, until the steering wheel is straightened again.
  2. Video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSKIeY5EEZE
  3. You should be able to find your answer here https://timingbeltorchain.net/skoda-superb-iii-typ-3v-2015-3th-generation-timing-belt-or-chain-2137
  4. You can quite easily start it again to move off, just by pulling the ACC stalk towards you or a slight press on the accelerator.
  5. I had this on my Superb MKII, and it was because the windows had lost their limit settings for some reason. However you can reset them by doing something like this (I can't remember exactly): Turn the ignition on (not the engine) Using the window switch send the window all the way down and press 5 times down and hold it for 3sec on the last time. Using the window switch send the window all the way up and press 5 times down and hold it for 3sec on the last time. Do it for each of the windows individually.
  6. My Superb is an estate, and so MQB-Cam B was the fit for mine. Not sure of what is needed for the Saloon.
  7. I fitted one of these, and works perfectly fine for me on my 2018 with Columbus 2.5 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000230897829.html?spm=a2g0s.12269583.0.0.7603299fn2Z4cN
  8. Push the cruise control stalk all the way back, you'll then see the total mileage in the Maxidot
  9. I'm pretty certain that if you deactivated in the infotainment menu, or push the remote lock button twice in succession, this not only does this deactivate the interior sensor but also deactivates the tilt sensors. Therefore the alarm is totally deactivated.
  10. A double press of the 'lock' button on the key, will disable internal monitoring and deadlocks but won't turn the alarm off.
  11. The chassis mount is here at the top of the picture.
  12. Take a look at this thread here Installing Speed Cameras on The Amundsen MIB2 - Free Database and Quite Simple to Do! - Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 onward) - BRISKODA. Works on the Superb III as well (Columbus). Read through all the posts, and you'll see the latest files from Feb this year.
  13. I tried running the cable down both sides, and it made no difference. I also tried adding ferrite cores. My dashcam is an Apeman.
  14. You probably just need a bit more force to remove the trim. I used a trim removal tool at one of the corners and then it just popped off.
  15. Take a look here to see how to remove the tailgate trim, and a few other tips on rear dash cam install After installing my rear dashcam there was interference with the DAB signal, and I never figured out to resolve this so I just ended up removing the cam.
  16. I fitted one of these about a month ago. Cost about £45 in total including delivery and taxes, and it took a couple of hours to install. Plug and play. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000230897829.html?spm=a2g0s.12269583.0.0.2e88299f8wpCPU (version 'b' was for my Superb)
  17. There's a few threads on here about voiding warranty. See here for one
  18. I successfully fitted one of these last week https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000230897829.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.40694c4dTEPT93 (mine was the 'B' version. Delivery from China was one week, and for a total price of £42.54 (that was including delivery and import costs). Took a couple of hours to install. Once plugged in worked first time, and no coding required. Difficult bits were getting the cables in behind the glovebox headunit, and then feeding the cable from tailgate to the C pillar.
  19. Don't worry about rear space in a Superb. If there was one car on the market that I would recommend for leg space, it would be the Superb. If you've got 2 other child car seats in the back, then it might be a tight on width, but one on it's own will not be a problem.
  20. You could try a 'hard reboot' of the infotainment system. Hold down the on/off button, until the screen goes blank (about 10 secs), and then release. It will then power up again.
  21. Do you mean 'Light Assist' (automatic switching for low / high beam)? If so, this might help
  22. On this post, part of the description and images show how to remove the panels (upper and lower). I used this to fit my rear dashcam, and it was fine taking the panels off, but need two of us to get the panels back on.
