  2. When I put it into google search it did come back with one at ECP ? or eBay
  3. https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/octavia/oct/2014-753/1/103-103073/ #23 confirms that part number
  4. Reading the VW Self study program for the system, there is a pedal pressure sensor and it bases part of the ABS regulation on this info coupled with the wheel speed sensors, so if it thinks you have "stamped" on the pedal it will bring in the ABS function, I wonder if your pedal pressure sensor is giving the impression that you are stamping on the pedal and so kicking in the system ? a live data readout from VCDS might be able to confirm this
  5. I used them on my MK1 Octy estate absolutely no problems, I fitted them at the mid point of the springs, the other type you could look for are the inflatable balloons that go inside the coils, you pump them up when towing and deflate when not
  6. You can see the 5L1 is for LHD & 5L2 for RHD
  7. That link is for the Xenon lights in the description it says "Gas Discharge lamp"

  9. If you find a bumper cover that has neither the washers or PDC I wouldn't worry too much as the cutouts for them are normally marked in the moulding and as you only need the PDC a simple drill out the hole
  10. @Derek-P-RThis is from the 2013 Yeti maintenance manual, Change headlight for right-hand / left-hand traffic The position of the ray of light should be adjusted when driving in countries which drive on the right or the left thereby preventing blinding of the drivers travelling in the opposite direction. On vehicles which have the Maxi DOT display in the dash panel insert, the position of the ray of light in the menu „Maxi DOT“ function „light and sight - tourist light - right-hand drive or left-hand drive“ can be adjusted see → Owner's manual Yeti. If the dash panel insert is not equipped with the Maxi DOT display, the position of the ray of light must be adjusted with → Vehicle diagnostic tester.

The whole event was a pleasure to watch, just hope the lad in the F4 race was OK as there wasn't any post event update that I saw ?
  13. Don't go to the local stealership for the hose if it's needed, when I had my MK1 Octy I replaced all the vacuum pipes with silicone hose from eBay, the price of one hose from the stealer I was able to replace everything for less and have some left over, just make sure the silicone is specified for vacuum
  14. All those faults sound like a failed ABS sensor, a very common fault
  15. Have a look at this there is one person listed in Basingstoke
  16. Standard atmospheric pressure is considered to be 1013mb @ 15c
  17. You really need something better than that streetwise reader, it's just a very basic code reader, something that is VAG specific and gives "live data" that way you would be able to see in real time if the throttle pedal position sensor was giving the correct signals to the ECU, might pay to have a look in this https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/262215-list-of-vcds-owners-previously-known-as-vag-com-vcp-owners/ and see if there is someone local to you who would help read the system for you
  18. Petrol & early diesel engines Later diesel engines
  19. https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/1z0807055-left-fog-lamp-holder-8121.html gives a picture of the item
  20. You don't state what year ? so went for a 2010 in the parts listing https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/octavia/oct/2010-663/8/807-807005/ & #6 sounds like your description ?
  21. They look like standard halogen units so they will need the external stickers
  22. Read the OP he states he has lost the key !
  23. Even though it will have the same part number it doesn't mean it will be coded the same as your current one, you really need to see what the coding is on your current one if it's not completely dead and then see what the coding is on the replacement and if required adjust the coding to match the original
  24. The box 123 is from fuse # 8 so unlike the indicators that work on a switched ground from the indicator stalk the brake lights work on a switched +12v from the switch
  25. Looking at the wiring diagrams the brake lights are fed from fuse #8 and fuse # 49 is only for the turn signals
