  1. Don't really come on Brisky that much anymore hence me missing this thread. However I'm free on the 18th so its very, very likely I'll attend. Actually it'll be rude not to as I live only 5 minutes away.... Car also looking and feeling a bit different now, remap, new shocks / springs, colour-coded front end 1. Stug 2. Bodie 3. Mercurio 4. Matt K123 5. Blueriver 6. Tim
  2. All the best for this Bruce and wife!! As Terry says do not treat this as a race, the way you are speaking you'll not be putting in a competitive time as I doubt will many of the competitors. I see there is an minimum average speed but this is more than achievable. Be careful of over training prior to the event and ensure you eat well before and during the race, as well as drink. It may be worthwhile practicing eating whilst cycling to ensure you are well fueled, a 10 - 15 minute stop will greatly affect your average speed and you might find it difficult to get going again. I think we've talked about food before, look at what the Tour guys eat, energy gels, cake, flapjacks etc etc not in anyway qualified to recommend food for your wife, but I imagine she has a good idea what is okay and what is not. Anyway, get out there on your bike
  3. Google Chrome, hahaha..... I used to be a big opera fan until Firefox was first release (think it was called Firebird at the time) and then switched. I use Opera mobile on my phone and keep hearing good things about the newest release. Maybe its time to try again...

  8. Personally I'd only be dealing with Larkspeed as they are the ones you have your contract with. How MSWUK and Larkspeed sort out the issue of lost postage costs is up to them. Phone up your credit card company and ask them to instigate a chargeback on your credit card due to incorrect good being received. They will then contact Larkspeed and I'm pretty sure will Larkspeed with soon arrange a courier for your wheels
  9. Welcome to the site Where abouts in EA are you from? I'll keep my eyes peeled...

  13. Yeh, a very good sand down and then spray with acid-etch primer. Do it somewhere very well ventilated as that stuff is nasty
  14. My expenses generally cover business fuel and my own fuel for most months, so I suppose nothing really....
  15. FoI requests will be the death of this country soon..... As an aside, the Fabia has a 21.5% failure rate come MOT time - however this is little skewed by the two years of over 60% failure rate due to limited test results
