I see there is an minimum average speed but this is more than achievable. Be careful of over training prior to the event and ensure you eat well before and during the race, as well as drink. It may be worthwhile practicing eating whilst cycling to ensure you are well fueled, a 10 - 15 minute stop will greatly affect your average speed and you might find it difficult to get going again. I think we've talked about food before, look at what the Tour guys eat, energy gels, cake, flapjacks etc etc not in anyway qualified to recommend food for your wife, but I imagine she has a good idea what is okay and what is not. Anyway, get out there on your bike

Personally I'd only be dealing with Larkspeed as they are the ones you have your contract with. How MSWUK and Larkspeed sort out the issue of lost postage costs is up to them. Phone up your credit card company and ask them to instigate a chargeback on your credit card due to incorrect good being received. They will then contact Larkspeed and I'm pretty sure will Larkspeed with soon arrange a courier for your wheels
