  10. Or Fronts. Dry the rear brakes off before you park at the end of a journey. Drive forward first after you have started the car. Both can help the rear brakes not to stick on. Thanks. AG Falco
  11. No. What symptoms did the car have? I have a 2016 Fabia at 86K miles on original brakes and bearings all round. Although I do have rear disks and pads, not drums. I also have a 2009 Fiat Panda at 137K miles on original rear shoes, drums and bearings, but I have changed the wheel cylinders. Thanks. AG Falco.

  18. The bluetooth OBDII is just the interface between the car and the APP you might use. Check if the APP supports new battery adaptation. Thanks. AG Falco
  19. I think it needs to seal but not necessarily lock. So if the Citigo fuel cap can still be twisted up to seal the end it might be still good. Two of my cars don't have key locking fuel caps and one has passed 12 MOT's already. Thanks. AG Falco
  20. How is it not working at the minute? Thanks. AG Falco
  21. The heat exchanger has a constant supply of water straight front the cylinder head. This speeds up the heat to the cabin from a cold engine as you are not waiting for all the coolant to warm up. The valves were a crude design which also gave problems with leaking / sticking. It is the air flow that is changed now. A small leak of air does no harm. So the air can get directed from, all through the heat exchanger, to none through the heat exchanger. Car's are too complex these days. Thanks. AG Falco
  22. Not any more. Note in the diagram above there is no valve between the engine and the heat exchanger for the cabin heater. Thanks. AG Falco
  23. It is normally the last letters/numbers at the end if the part number that indicate the colour. Eg:- 3V0 071 497 D 8Z8 with the D 8Z8 being the colour bit. Thanks. AG Falco
  24. This might help:- https://www.google.com/search?q=VAS+6096+tool Thanks. AG Falco
  25. You can get a power lead to plug in to the OBD port that you power the car up during the battery change. https://www.google.com/search?q=obd+power+supply+lead Thanks. AG Falco
