  1. If you have the extra CANTON speakers in the front doors and the sub in the left side boot pocket you have CANTON. If you have neither then you don’t have it. If you have a coding tool you can add Skoda Surround on a standard radio. It’s quite easy to do if you want the coding.
  2. I am still super jealous as I’ve been looking for one of these for months and I can’t seem to find one 🤣 I’ll have to land on the next one haha
  3. You’ll need a scan, could be a faulty strut but they aren’t expensive used or third party.
  4. Frameless mirror is 3G0 857 511 AE
  5. Basically, if you have sensors they need to work, if the sensors are faulty, no camera bit if you have no sensors you will be fine.
  6. They do work without park sensors, my Octavia was just an odd one as the sensors were coded out for some odd reason. I’ve done a camera on a car without sensors, works fine
  7. You can’t do the boot close from dash button on a car this new, they can’t be done post 2016 sadly. The lane assist and traffic jam assist can be done with VCDS or above. OBDEleven can’t code the steering module. Supernova’s are the right wheels as well
  8. You need to add the power to fuse slot 8, ground, and LIN which is pin 29 connector C in the BCM. Gateway needs changing to 3Q0 for the VC extra views etc. BCM will need flashing to a newer firmware to do the lighting on the screens but it may work in the doors. Have a code and see what’s there.
  9. Not sure about that BCM. If you have MY18 with the lighting on the screens try coding it and if the menu appears and the screens change colour all will be well.
  10. I used OEM as well. It’s not too bad to do but if you have a 086 BCM like mine there’s not an independent footwell light dimmer for the colour changing lighting so I had to wire it to the dash strip for dimming.
  11. I’ll be offering this soon, you would have to have to have the sensors fitted yourself or I would arrange a tyre place local to me to have them fitted as part of the install.
  12. I read that as triggered as in annoyed 🤣 which I definitely would be and indeed am when when OH’s Corsa with the active system doesn’t have the exact same pressure in each tyre 🤪
  13. Do you have the correct BCM? If not, that’ll need changing too. 5Q0937084CG or DD is good along with some others but 084CF is no good. If you have Pin 29 on connector C you are good. Floor lights are a must too IMO.
  14. You could fit the Xenons after sorting the wiring out, adding the washers and self levelling system but it’s a whole lot of work. If you want the xenons, I would suggest buying a car with them already as it’s not really a viable retrofit even at DIY level.
  15. That’s awesome!! I’ll let you know when the virtual pedal parts start arriving 😅
  16. Had the pleasure of doing another camera on @JBD1974’s lovely Superb which is another one that is almost my cars twin!!
  17. The Qi charger has a signal booster
  18. Mine did this the other day too!
  19. I wonder where you may have gone 🤣 I also had @David55over to add the OEM rear camera with washer and rear door puddle lights. Same coding fun on both cars
  20. That’s standard with all cars with ACC. TJA keeps the lane assist on under 40 mph so you get both working together through the speed range and it was never standard on any UK trim level
  21. I’m 5 foot 8 and all leg so I fit in just fine. My OH is barely 5 foot 2 and she can make the seat position comfy too
  22. You can override it to do that, just pull the wheel and it will let you. If I know I’m throwing the car around I turn it off TJA works with the ACC so under 40 mph the Lane Assist stays on. It’s not a tick box, the A5 camera needs flashing to work. I don’t have the 3GD camera file though so MY19 I can’t do this on yet.
  23. Will make a minuscule difference but it mostly just gave me something to do haha 😆
  24. Been a busy day at Sasha Towers, had @CaptainPukein for Travel Assist pack retrofit (car had TSR only so I have added HBA, Lane Assist and Traffic Jam Assist) as well as my usual glut of extra coding and then rounded the day off by fitting my air intake blank plate and cut the blanked off section to open it up like an aftermarket system which should give you about an extra 9 cfm of airflow and it gave me something to do for 30 mins 😆 An extra piece of coding I have been made aware of by @langers2k, on my Superb with the 2Q0 Lane Assist camera you can change the ferocity of the Lane Assist and set a little vibration in the steering wheel to nudge you and if you like Lane Assist it’s a cool feature. I can now add this to any 3GD 980 654 A5 camera. This is demonstrated on @varaderoguy’s lovely Scout on which I fitted the 4G LTE antenna, rear USB loom and OEM LED floor lights. For those who like to code at home, the Lane Assist fun is A5 Long Coding Byte 13 change to Hex 56 A5 Adaptations Warning Intensity: Lane Departure Warning - Selection over Menu. This is for MY18 and 19 cars only. All working perfectly 🙂
