Cambelt /toothed belt on a 2.0L 150hp TDI Euro6
I agree. Anyway I had it done at 62000 km and 46 months on my TDI190 because of coolant pump starting to fail and risk of having overtemperature. Wayyyy sooner than the recommended 210000 km…😡

Cambelt /toothed belt on a 2.0L 150hp TDI Euro6
Skoda recommends cambelt change every 210000 km without time limit TDI engines on Mk3 I had this confirmed by the workshop manager of my local dealer.

Slight clunk from rear brakes
This sounds a good hypothesis. I would have a look on pads and brake calipers too.

TMC not working
Though I prefer the inbuilt Columbus graphics, I've been using Waze for years, since much more efficient for traffic handling. ETA is more reliable. Sometimes I use green mirroring, but not keen of Waze graphics on a big screen. For long trip, I use Waze on my smartphone and inbuilt satnav to see camera locations (coupled with sound alert) in parallel.

Gearbox oil change
Errr…VAG customers satisfaction policy? I don’t really understand why such a philosophy…

Gearbox oil change
Try to download the gearbox chapter from cardiagn.com. There are all workshop available for free. For sure you'll find oil quantity and plugs' torques. Not: I went to an Audi dealer to do the same on my wife's Audi Q3. They looked at me as if I was an alien coming from Mars or wherever! And replied: Oh no sir, it's unnecessary to replace manual gearbox oil. It's filled for life. We only do it when we face gearbox damage... 🙄

Opened up Brake Ducts
I've seen a lot of threads regarding brake discs indeed. But very few about brake pads. Additionally, I've never seen any thread about rear brake discs issue on French Superb Mk3 forum which I get used to read (not very active, I admit). Could there be a climate explanation?

What bulbs are fitted to the S3 & upgraded bulb recommendations
Hi, I finally installed the 6+6 LEDs (6 red + 6 white) such as these on my rear doors: This looks like this: The red lights look a bit clearer than they actually are. I think I'm gonna install the 2 remaining sets on the front doors, since I'm a bit "fed up" with the Skoda logo: It has something 'too much' for me. @MartiniB Thanks for your advices

Opened up Brake Ducts
OEM VAG brake pads last quite a lot. My Mk3 is currently 92000 km on the clock and still with its original brake pads. My wife's Audi Q3 is 152000 km on the clock and still with its original brake pads too. Maybe too inspired by the Steve McQueen drive style? 😄

Opened up Brake Ducts
Probably no shorter braking distance, but maybe lasting a bit more in severe conditions (e.g.: driving down from mountain)? What is your lessons learnt since you've done this mod?

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Oh... Then that's a translation issue. By "Driving profile" I thought you were talking about the profile 'attached' to the key and all related settings (seat, rear view mirror, etc.)... One point for both of you guys! 👍

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Today, I modified the VCDS settings to have Ambient light depending on DCC mode. I've set it as follows: Eco is green / Confort is light blue / Normal is white / Sport is red / Individual is dark blue. (Yes, I know, not very original colors for Eco and Sport modes 😁) Great! All explained in the VCDS thread! Many thanks to @langers2k and to @igrozan!

VCDS options on Superb III
That is the trick! I've set it to 6, which is a "Fahrprofil", that I don't have, and no more 'disco mode'. Hence, I have: Eco in green Comfort in light blue Normal in white Sport in Red and Individual in dark blue. If I had the correct software, I would set Normal mode in lastest selected manual mode! Thanks a lot to both of you @langers2k and @igrozan 🙏 !

VCDS options on Superb III
Hi guys, thanks for additional information. @langers2k No need to apologize Don't forget, I'm not a native English speaker, I may have missed something in translation... I notice, I have probably missed 2 points: - I didn't modified the line "2nd generation-Innenlicht : Keine_Spannungsanforderung" - I didn't catch the line "Ambiente : Sollspannungsanforderung 13.5V" Is that another modification to do, then on which line / parameter please ?... Regarding now Fahrprofil, I had done following settings: Fahrprofil_0 = 1 (doors open) Fahrprofil_1 = 1 (comfort mode) Fahrprofil_2 = 1 (normal mode) Fahrprofil_3 = 4 (Sport mode) in red Fahrprofil_5 = 9 (Eco mode) in green Fahrprofil_7 = 7 (Individual mode) in blue I'll try the same setting except for Fahrprofil_1 = 8 (comfort mode) in light blue. Note : Color codes should the following ones according to original colors order: 1 should be White 2 should be Yellow 3 should be Orange 4 is red 5 should be pink 6 should be purple 7 is 'dark' blue 8 is 'high' blue 9 is 'dark' green 10? should be 'light' green. Additionally, here are my SW info from latest controller scan: "Address 09: Cent. Elect. (J519) Labels:. 5Q0-937-08X-V2.clb Part No SW: 5Q0 937 084 CQ HW: 5Q0 937 084 CG Component: BCM MQBAB H H36 0253 Serial number: 01001726400631 Dataset Number: V03935261XB 0001 Coding: 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Shop #: WSC 33361 790 00140 ASAM Dataset: EV_BCMMQB 018001 ROD: EV_BCMBOSCH_018.rod VCID: 09377D2DA82A61DB94-805C" I don't know if it helps. But it looks like very similar to @igrozan's one. I'll come back to you once tested again. Thanks for your help.

VCDS options on Superb III
My Mk3 has been built in oct. 2017 and is a MY2018. 10th VIN digit is actually J. But as @langers2k said, I may need a SW upgrade to make the mod working fine. Or maybe I miss a step in the mode. I´ll try again or at least have a look.

Oil Level Sensor and Combined Temperature - high level and when does the temperature display
The oil temp starts being displayed from 50°C. Below this temp, you only get "---". It's only a question of sensor cost. Indeed it's hard to get a sensor with reliable calibration from -40°C (in cold soaked conditions) to +120°C (in very hot conditions). Otherwise the sensor cost is not really compliant with automotive industry cost targets.

VCDS options on Superb III
@igrozan Can you just tell me what is the MY of your Mk3? Indeed, as @langers2k said, mine may be too old to get this mod working fine... 🤔

Silica Tea Bag and Antifreeze
I may be wrong, but I think I remember reading in some threads, that the P/N is written on the lower part of the coolant tank, on its rear side. Thus it's not so obvious to read it. Maybe using a small mirror?

What have you done to your Superb III today?
I've changed my haldex oil myself and cleaned the pump strainer. Though I had done it already once, it took me a long time, since I didn't much space left under the car. Fortunately, I could refer to my own "how to guide" to avoid looking for all tips and tightening torque values: 90700km and 63 months on the clock. It's the second time I do it. It was the right time to do it. Still the same ugly mayonnaise on the strainer...

VCDS options on Superb III
Unfortunately for me, you're right! My SW version is 3Q0 907 530 G (even older than you original version). As I don't know how I could flash it, I'll bring everything back to original settings. Thanks for your help!

VCDS options on Superb III
I've just tried this mod. But it doesn't fully works. In Automatic mode, I do have : Sport mode in Red, Individual mode in blue, Eco mode in green. But I can't find how to set the expected color in Comfort mode. It keeps the previous selected mode color (red if sport, blue if individual, green if eco) on the center display, but it's like "disco mode" on the Columbus overview, which switches between white and blue. I've tried to set another value than 0 or 1 on all other "Fahrprofil-Fahrprofil_0 to 15", and especially on Fahrprofil-Fahrprofil_1 which is supposed to be "Comfort mode". But it still doesn't work. Any help would be much appreciated . Otherwise, I'll set everything back to original settings. It's only a "nice to have".
