  1. Done! Feel free to release your file for those who may want to male VCDS changes.
  2. VW has just present the MK4 twin sister Passat Mk9: Sorry that's in German. However, here is what I've caught and may be also in the Superb Mk4. They confirm Passat 9 and Superb 4 will be both built in Bratislava. The sides and especially both front and rear doors are the same on both cars. Note: The Passat will only exist in Estate version. It's Cx value is 0.25 whereas it was 0.3 on Passat Mk8 The total length is 4.92m / width is 1.85. Boot volume is 690l and jumps to 1900l when back seats are folded (they compare it to Mercedes E-Class in Estate version which offers 1830l) The back seats still offer much room for rear passenger legs. The guy is 6'5" tall to give you an idea. Passat has a 12.9" center screen, which can rise to 15" screen in option. Note: The latter one regroups the functions which Škoda has decided to put in the 3 knobs. I don't know whether this is still tue with the 12.9" screen... Passat also has the gear lever moved to the driving wheel, which implies the wipers functions are now regrouped with the left stalk usually only dedicated to lights and directions. It seems most probable that Superb Mk4 will offer the same architecture... It will have the same engines as the Superb Mk4 (Hybrid, Gasoline, Diesel, with same power) all fitted with DSG7 (just as Škoda Mk4). The 'iV version should be 100km autonomy in electric mode. The TDI150 should have a 1400km autonomy. The DCC is 2.0 with dual valves to enable much finer settings between comfort and 'sport' The 'iV' version will be 2200 kg 😱! Regarding prices, the guys reports that he specced the current Passat Mk8 in basic version for € 38k on VW configurator, whereas VW announces the Mk9 will be € 39k in its basic version and will be however quite well equipped. I hope the Superb Mk4 won't have any higher price increase...
  3. I think 'smart buttons' will be mainly a question of getting used to this change. I remmener my first drives with my Mk3 coming straight from a Superb Mk2. At the beginning, I was 'lost' with the 'Columbus', because it was such a jump from one generation to the other compared to RNS510. So many functions ands settings... Thus, it was much safer to do it when car was parked or stopped at a traffic light, because it required too many seconds with eyes off the road to do what I want on the Columbus. But after some hundreds of kilometers I got used to it and it's now very quick to me... Change doesn't necessarily mean 'worse'. First try and then decide whether it's better or not.
  4. @JR RS I can send you mines if you want to compile them. I have some more: - Enable Ambient lights coupled with DCC Driving mode - Enable Easy Entry - Enable rain drops wiping on both front a rear wipers - Activate Emergency Brake lights flashing (on brake bulbs) - Activate Emergency Brake lights flashing (on direction bulbs) - Activate fan blowing speed in AUTO mode - Activate Off Road mode on Columbus - Disable DRLs upon hand brake activation - Adjust Autohold brake release (Early / Normal / Late) - Adjust Corner lights deactivation speed. I just need to translate them in English.
  5. I've specced just for fun a TDI200 DSG7 4x4 L&K Mk3 few months ago. It was already €64k in France... I fear it may be even more expensive than € 70k... 😞
  6. Don't forget that Lane Assist + Front assist + ACC keep you safe so that you can look at those knobs for few seconds without big danger 😇... Of course, I'm kidding... I agree with you...
  7. Nice colour indeed!
  8. I fear the bikes are main contributors to the noise you're complaining about way before roof bars. Unless you were talking about roof bars alone (unloaded)... 🤔
  9. Do you mean ifinterface.com?
  10. IMHO trying to save the price of the water pump is somehow gambling. I also faced the water pump issue (stuck at 62000km) and decided to replace the cambelt at the same time instead of the 210000 km recommendation.
  11. @nicknorman Your first experience is almost unbelievable. I think this kind of guys should simply change for another job. The other one, who suggest the 1.5 TSI should better convince you than a TSI280 is a top seller, for sure! 🙄 I think this guy never drove a TSI280… 😂
  12. Just press the ´lens’ icon in the right bottom corner of the screen. If already in automatic zoom, it will display a sliding cursor which enables you to adjust the required scale. Then the ´lens’ icon will be replaced by a the selected scale. If in fixed zoom, press the ´scale´ icon to either adjust the scale with the sliding cursor or get back to ´auto´ zoom.
  13. That’s possibly the explanation. What is your country?
  14. For sure some did paint the hub. I remember pics being posted on the forum.
  15. Important milestone reached today with my MY2018 Mk3
  16. Not that rusted, but same problem for me.
  17. Do you mean real POI or ´so called’ POI, which actually are speed camera positions… 😁 For option #2, there´s a thread pinned on the first page… 😉
  18. That’s more or less what I do. Only the centering part of the wheels behind the wheel center caps, as explained in the workshop manual. But I think @Colin170CR, the brake discs hubs that you directly see behind the wheels thru the spokes.🤔 Otherwise, I don’t see why he would intend to paint a hidden part… Unless I misunderstood something… 🤔
  19. Yes, unfortunately, they do. I have the same on my wife´s Audi Q3 MY2015. Maybe a little less rusty than my own Superb Mk3.
  20. Sorry, I´ve read too fast on my smartphone. 🙄
  21. Did you try a GPS map update? If I don’t make mistake the TSR uses both A5 camera and GPS map data to display speed limits. 🤔
  22. I think the answer is your question. The 280 is a keeper. Keep yours or order a new one before it’s not available anymore. 😜 In France, the 280 is already unavailable for months…😐
  23. That is correct. Here is the answer : Sticker OEM reference is 3V0 010 000 AF, if you want to buy it. 😉 I suggest using the ´ECO’ pressures to delay sawtooth wear on your tyres, which causes rumbling when it appears
  24. I just think back to a point… Considering your Scout version has DCC, it may be a problem with front schock absorbers leaking. It’s unfortunately a common issue with DCC. Some of us had to replace them at 30000 km. I also had to do it ‘fortunately’ at 96000 km. Take a look at your front schock absorbers. If they’re a bit greasy, they need to be changed and it’s probably the main reason. However, this hypothesis doesn’t match with this happening from the beginning… 🤔
  25. Made a GPS map update (2023/2024) from the Skoda Portal and Camera POI update this morning. Everything looks good! 😉
