  1. I had kept in mind that memory module only keeps the S&S state at engine shut down for the next start. Is there really another module configuration that simply inverts the default configuration (S&S off at every engine start. Comes on only when button is pressed)?
  2. Bl**dy silly crow! Current spare parts for side mirror are awfully expensive. 400โ‚ฌ for a simple heated and auto-dimming mirror (without blind spot functiin) for an octy 3 by my local dealer. Thatโ€™s becoming crazyโ€ฆ
  3. For sure, presenting one's car is not mandatory, ... nor basic rules of politeness. How many registered members with a single messages for just one question, that never come back to say at least a brief 'thanks'. I don't think this kind of threads prevent any forum from dying off either... Simple personal opinion, then everyone is free.
  4. Hi, First message, not even 'hello', nor 'please' neither 'thanks'... and no presentation of your Superb. ๐Ÿ˜• Well... That's a good start... But not sure I would take time to explain, if I had the answers... ๐Ÿค” Best regards.
  5. Strange, I've set the brake release to "early" too and I don't face this issue. However, I have to say that brake disengagement still requires more than just feathering the gas pedal, when maneuvering uphill or downhill. It's not moving an anvil either... Maneuvering on a flat surface is really OK.
  6. No, it's the same ones for all four foot wells. At least...
  7. Thank you guys! I wish my Superb could look a little bit bigger on tank trailer, but I fear I would have won a complete week at my local body repair shop... ๐Ÿ˜
  8. Probably a pure question of taste... I think this honeycomb grill fits quite well to the Sportline version, but it looks somehow weird on a L&K version. Is it related to the combination with glossy black trims on Sportline instead of chrome ones on L&K? Or is it juts me?
  9. On the road... OK. Quite subtle pic... I admit it
  10. Superskoda has changed into Kopacek.
  11. Almost like โ€˜Close encounters of the third kindโ€™ ๐Ÿ˜‚ Awesomely bright ๐Ÿค™ !
  12. Nice trip ! ๐Ÿ‘
  13. Of course ! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘
  14. Rythmic rumbling could be saw tooth wear on rear tyres. If you pass your hand counter clockwise on rear right tyre / clockwise on rear left tyre, youโ€™ll easily feel the saw tooth effect. Switching front / rear wheels should solve the problem within 500km. If the saw tooth is still a bit present, then switch left and right front wheels. It should disappear within another 500km. Just have a look on cardiagn.com and download official workshop manual, espacially ยซ wheels & tyres ยป chapter, where the solution above is well discribed.
  15. Hi, There's no SW setting to switch ON/OFF the S&S depending on your mood. The solution is to buy a small cable on Aliexpress, which saves the S&S setting upon engine switch off. S&S ON when engine is shut down, S&S remains ON at next engine Start. S&S OF when engine is shut down, S&S remains OFF at next engine Start. It costs not that much, and it's plug & play. But sorry, I don't have any link for this cable, and I can't remember what shall be disassembled from the centre console to connect this cable. ๐Ÿค”
  16. Hi, Take a look at cardiagn.com. You'll be able to download official workshop manuals for free. Chapter "General Body Repairs - interior" should be the most appropriate to find relevant information.
  17. I had assumed it could be something like that! But it's better to ask!
  18. Sorry, I didn't catch that... (English is nt my mother tongue). ๐Ÿค”
  19. To be honest, this is the fifth VAG car in the family: Audi A3 Mk2 MY2003 / Audi A3 Mk2 MY2009 / Skoda Superb Mk2 MY2012 / Audi Q3 Mk1 MY2015 + Skoda Superb Mk3 MY 2018 (both still in the family). Only the latter did this... Not very pleased to change the complete motor wiper after only 4 years... Though not that expensive... Thanks anyway. I'll try to check if there is something wrong with it. I'll let you know if I find something
  20. Hi all, Since a couple of months, the rear wiper sometimes freezes at 2/3 of the way. Then it sometimes starts again on its own and goes back to rest position and sometimes, I need to switch it off and switch it on to make it start again to return to its rest position. I did not make any VCDS scan to check if there's any fault code from the wiper. I did not remove the the inner plastic trim of the tailgate either to have a closer look at this time. Has anyone ever faced the same issue? How did you solve it (if solved)? Thanks again.
  21. Have a look on cardiag.com. You can download workshop manuals for free. I think you'll find an answer in Body 'repair' chapter
  22. If you get satisfied with the job they do, It may be worth come back to the 1st silly guy who told you you could have your car repaired in France. Just to explain him that fortunately some of his colleagues are more professional than he is.
  23. Wow ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒ ! How do they dare call themselves as professional official dealer! unbelievable !!! ๐Ÿ˜ก Simple suggestion, go to another official dealer if feasible.
