  1. 2 or 3 years ago I had lost blind spot and rear traffic detection. For an unknown reason, the long coding had all vanished... I simply pasted the long coding, from a previous scan and all went back. Thus I assume It should work for you too. Let us know.
  2. Errr... I can admit, there's an inflation context, but when I spec exactly the same MK3 as I currently have on the French Skoda configurator, I see that standard equipments have become options and standard price has furiously increased in the mean time... I would rather say there are lost killing actions to increase profits...
  3. Thanks for remembering. IΒ΄ve bought a 4 bulb set with 6+6 red & white LEDs since this post. But not installed yet. I Β΄ll let you know how the result is.
  4. I washed my Estate Mk3 on last Sunday (coming back from holidays with very salty roads). While using the pressure washer at the car wash, another car parks on the place next to mine. I don't really pay attention to it, since the washing slots are separated by smoked windows. I keep on washing my car and when I was finally rinsing my car, I had a quick look to my car reflecting on these smoked windows. And... instead of seeing my Mk3, it had changed into beautiful black Porsche Taycan !!! πŸ˜πŸ€©πŸ˜ƒ Unfortunately, this lasted only 1 sec, before I realized it was not my car, but a real Porsche Taycan on the other side of the smoked window... 😐 I wished my "pumpkin had turned into a carriage until midnight like Cinderella", but this lasted only one second!... πŸ˜‚ I think my vacation was not relaxing enough... I need more vacation... πŸ˜‚
  5. Ok, IΒ΄ll look for the pics about this mod. IΒ΄ll post them next week. Stay tuned.
  6. I did that on my former Superb Mk2. I can post a How to guide, if needed. But on Mk2 the rear washer spray is integrated in the motor axis, which simplify the mods compared to the Mk3 washer in the 3rd stop light.😐
  7. What do they bring actually?
  8. I discussed with Master Tech from my local official Skoda dealer this morning. That’s exactly what happened. He said it’s bullsh*t. His guys should never have used this sticker. He was quite nerved to see that his mechanics still use stickers which are outdated for years. He confirmed me I could remove this ugly confusing sticker and that correct timing belt replacement is every 210000km without time limit. Just wanted to make a feedback with official information.
  9. As English is note my mother tongue, I may write confusing sentences sometimes... I hope that's OK now.
  10. @J.R. Here is the sticker : To me, next replacement shall be done in 90000 km (at 152000km for me), not AT 90000 (after only 28000km in my case. Otherwise, there would be no interest in writing the replacement milage / date on the sticker. But maybe IΒ΄m wrong…
  11. For sure, I'll ask him some explanation... So strange for me.
  12. If I remember well, I think it's DFCA. I need to check this.
  13. @pwitty85 The VCDS scan did not reveal anything special. But someone made the hypothesis that a low battery voltage may lead to the "manoeuvre braking unavailable" message. Since I've read this, I pay much more attention for how long I haven't driven my Mk3 when the message appears. I have to say it sounds quite well related. When I don't drive it for the week-end, I have the message on Monday morning. But after the 17km to go to work, the message doesn't come back in the evening, when I take the car to drive back home. I have a 650 km trip planned soon. I'll see how long it takes before the message comes back after this trip. Anyway, I think It will be worth I replace my battery when fall 2023 has come. It will help me spending a 2024 winter without trouble.
  14. Hi guys, I had read over the 5-10 last years that VAG recommendation for timing belt replacement on TDI150 and TDI190 engines is 210000km without time limit (though most dealers keep on saying 5 years maximum). I had a coolant pump failure at 62000km which obliged me to replace it. I decided to take the opportunity to change the timing belt a the same time (though at least 100000 km sooner than expected πŸ™„πŸ˜¬). This was done 15-16 months ago by an official Skoda dealer (where I bought the car actually). My Mk3 has currently 88000 km on then clock. Today looking under the bonnet to have quick check, I've noticed an official VAG sticker, which I had never paid attention to before. It mentions: "Warning: Next timing belt replacement in 90000km". 😳😳😳 What the h*ll is that!?!?! 😬😬 Fundamental change in VAG replacement interval or wrong sticker put on my car? Now, I can't figure out what's the right interval for timing belt replacement. Every 90000 or every 210000km? Any idea or would be much appreciated. Anyway I'll go to my dealer next Wednesday to order some spare parts, since Haldex oil replacement will be due soon. I'll ask the workshop manager.
  15. Same poor rear washer performance for mine too.
  16. I was meaning on Superb Mk2 / Mk3. But you may still be right ;). This document doesn't states on which car it applies.
  17. AFAIK, DQ200 was never coupled with TDI engines, was it? πŸ€”
  18. @MartiniB may help you. If I remember well, he did this mod.
  19. All 19´´ wheels for Mk3 have the same tyres size: 235/40/19. Some owners here have changed for 245/40/19 size which offers more choice possibility and enables some money savings.
  20. Did you tell them it’s for a RHD car? Because, they might have thought you were talking about a LHD one. The rear fog light is on the left on my french LHD Mk3. I assume you did, but just to check. Sometimes we forget the most obvious things
  21. My mistake! You're fully right! Here is the explanation about UKCA marking. πŸ™‚
  22. IΒ΄ve done the 1st one with my TDI190 using my old Micro-CAN VCDS. But all problems feedbacks with DCC dissuaded me to do the 2nd one. I did not want to risk any trouble.
  23. Hi, Here is the coding from my pre-facelift L&K also Canton equiped : Address 5F: Information Electr. (J794) Labels:| 3V0-035-MIB-HGH2.clb Part No SW: 565 035 043 A HW: 565 035 043 Component: MU-H-N-EU H54 1163 Serial number: A856E0HB011659 Coding: 03840201000000005111000200080A002F0103E4012085009E I hope it helps.
  24. Should it be a special P/N for UK or Canada? I don't really see any good reason why it should be different from the rest of the world... πŸ€” Didn't you have the opportunity to change for the L&K model with both chromed ends? Even nicer and classier... πŸ˜‰ Strange also this kind of "recyclable cannabis leaf" icon... πŸ˜‚
