  1. I have recently switch from iPhone 8 to iPhone SE (Mk3, as my Superb 😁), but this morning I didn't managed to make the first BT connection. I had however removed my former iPhone 8 from the phones list in the phone menu of the Columbus before. BT is activated on my new IPhone, it is set as visible from other BT accessories. I tryed several locations in the cabin to improve detection, but it failed evrytime (6-8 attempts though). Can anyone remind me where the BT Unit is? Shall I try to connect it with the USB cable for the first time? Is there a specific process I missed? It can't remember having had troubles to connect my former iPhone or my Samsung (professional phone) more recently. Thanks for your help!
  2. Wow ! It can even be deactivated (OFF) or switch batch to original manual mode! Awesome! I'l try that. I didn't find the time to do it these past days.

I would say it’s most probably a geometry issue (toes out rather than too much negative camber, since they’re quite evenly worn on 3/4 of the width. Anyway since you have brand new tyres, it’s the right time to get both front and rear axles correctly set. It should prevent this to appear again.
  4. OK thanks. I'll take a look at it and try these next days.
  5. Found in one of the numerous pages from this topic: Please, don't ask me which one! 😄 However, here is the mod: Easy entry activation: 36 - Seat Adjustment Drivers Side > 07 Coding Byte 3 > Bit 1 - Easy entry : Set it to 1. Note : I didn't have the boxes to tick, thus I had to modify the Byte manually. 00000000 to 00000010 in my case (⚠️ bit numbering starts on the right, form 0. First bit on the left is #7) Byte 9 > Bit 6 - Easy Entry front over MMI : Set it to 1. (same note as above) Final adaptation to enable/disable the Easy entry function from the Columbus: 5F - Information-electric > 10 Adaptation Select channel "ENG 122227_ENG 117556 Car Function adaptation - Gen2 Menu_display_seat_configuration" : Select it from 'not active' to 'Active'. Tick "Soft reset" before clicking on "Do it!" button to reboot the Columbus. That's it. Now you'll find the tick box in the following menus / submenus: CAR > Settings > Seats Enjoy...
  6. Most probably only a nickname for me... 😆
  7. Another way to check that your headlights are on: The Columbus (or Amundsen) screen shifts into dark mode while your dashboard should dim a bit to prevent you from being dazzled by inner lights. You can notice/check that easily when driving under a bridge or a short tunnel, if it's dark enough to trigger the headlights automatically.
  8. Strange. I didn't pay attention to this point, when I changed mine 3000 km ago... 🤔
  9. Errr... I think, we say the same thing, but not the same way... 😄 Regarding the colours I'd like to link to some driving modes, since I'd like to keep the colour setting free for comfort & normal modes, I had assumed they could remain set to 0. Am I wrong?
  10. @langers2k Thanks a lot! 👍 Not tested yet, but the interesting thing in your feedback, is that Driving profiles are not ranked in the same order as they appear on the Columbus ! I would have expected 1-ECO / 2-COMFORT / 3-NORMAL / 4-SPORT / 5-INDIVIDUAL, but according to your settings, It seems to be 9-ECO / 8-COMFORT / 2-NORMAL / 3-SPORT / 1-INDIVIDUAL, but 1st Driving mode needs some adaptation and software update. I'll check that soon.
  11. Thanks ! I need to update my briskoda profile, then... 😄 But I have to say, I probably had made a 'shortcut', thinking MY2018 necessarily means having VC, which I don't have since it appeared in early 2018, if I remember well. OK, thanks! I'll try that then and make feedbacks, whether it works... or not...🤞 I hope, I don't need any firmware update. If it's true, then I won't go any further. This mod is only a 'nice to have' for me, not a 'must have'.
  12. Hmmm... I missed that point. I thought it could be 'retrofited' whatever the MY. Actually, my MK3 was 1st registered on December 2017 (built in October 2017). I thought it is a MY2017, but may be I'm wrong. I heard sometimes, MY2018 starts in July 2017 🤔...
  13. Easy entry function enabled with my VCDS today (incl. tick box on the Columbus, to keep the possibility to disable it if needed). It was more for fun than a need, since I'm only weighing 140lb and 6' tall... 😄
  14. Hi, I finally managed to find some time to have a closer look to this point. But I still don't fully understand what is the right way to proceed. The DCC has 5 modes: 1-ECO / 2-COMFORT / 3-NORMAL / 4-SPORT / 5-INDIVIDUAL My Mk3 has default ambiant color settings: Farbe 9 is 'dark green' / Farbe 7 is blue / Farbe 4 is red. I'd like ECO mode to be green (yeah, I give it to you, not very original... 😁), the SPORT mode to be red (not very original either 😁) and the INDIVIDUAL mode to blue. Here is what I've caught so far, I need to check following settings: IDE09731-ENG154511-Int. light: 2nd generation-Ambiente_Fahrprofil_Individual = 1 IDE09731-ENG154512-Int. light: 2nd generation-Ambiente_Farbliste_HMI_mit_Farbtransformation = active IDE09731-ENG154513-Int. light: 2nd generation-Ambiente_Farbwahl_FPA_waehlbare_Kopplung = active IDE09731-ENG154514-Int. light: 2nd generation-Ambiente_Farbwahl_FPA_waehlbare_Kopplung_Status_hmi_default = active and then make make following adaptations: ENG153712-ENG154603-Ambientelicht Zuordnung der Farbe zum Fahrprofil-Fahrprofil_1,9 ,23 ENG153712-ENG154612-Ambientelicht Zuordnung der Farbe zum Fahrprofil-Fahrprofil_4,4 ,23 ENG153712-ENG154613-Ambientelicht Zuordnung der Farbe zum Fahrprofil-Fahrprofil_5,7 ,23 (assuming Fahrprofil_1 corresponds to ECO mode, Fahrprofil_4 is SPORT mode and Fahrpofil_5 stands for INDIVIDUAL mode). Am I getting it right? Nevertheless, noticing there are 15 driving profiles makes me doubt. I don't understand why 15 driving profiles while the DCC only offers 5 possibilities... Additionally, since Fahrprofil_0 seems to be the first one, should I make an 'offset' in the driving profiles numbers as follows? ENG153712-ENG154602-Ambientelicht Zuordnung der Farbe zum Fahrprofil-Fahrprofil_0,9 ,23 ENG153712-ENG154611-Ambientelicht Zuordnung der Farbe zum Fahrprofil-Fahrprofil_3,4 ,23 ENG153712-ENG154612-Ambientelicht Zuordnung der Farbe zum Fahrprofil-Fahrprofil_4,7 ,23 Thanks in advance to @Ivan8192, @SashaGrace or anyone who could help me understanding correctly how it works.
  15. Yes, sorry for the mistyping! Thanks @ApertureS for correcting me !
  16. Have a look on cardiag.com. You can download workshop manuals and especially « body repair, interior » should be helpful for you. 😉
  17. There’s a parameter in the 17-Instrument ECU that can be either set to ‘poor oil quality ’ or ‘good oil quality’. ´Good’ meaning ´long life´ oil. Bit there’s no sensor for real time oil quality analysis. 😉
  18. Mat be a dead relay 🤔 ?
  19. Do you mean installing air springs to avoid a « nose up » when towing?
  20. @Sinbad1900 FYI there’s a « how to » guide to change Haldex oil and to clean the pump strainer in the « Superb how to » forum. At least to know, if you don’t intend to do it yourself. 😉
  21. There is no filter to be changed on Haldex Gen 5. Only a strainer to clean up on the Haldex pump. 😉 But as you said, this is rarely done by Skoda dealers because not required in the workshop manual. You have to ask for it, but it’s hard to know if it has really been done. 🤔
  22. Sorry I didn’t push any further my mod idea. Mainly because of lack of time. 😞
  23. If a MY2017, it may be time to change the battery as a first simple action.m, before looking for any other failure cause.
  24. Take a look on ebay. My father found a mirror (only the glass part) in Estonia or Latvia (heated + self-dimming w/o blind spot) for something like £85, while the best he found on any french spare parts website was at least 200€ for his Octy 3. OEM spare part in both cases 😉
  25. Against fingerprints on the Columbus screen, a good microfiber towel is the most efficient I´ve found.
