  1. @ApertureS Stunning job! Congratulations.
  2. No problem. I was only referring to it for the pics, not to tell you to do it yourself. ...
  3. I did it myself at 45000km. It was already quite dirty. Have a look to my ‘How to guide’ to see the pics. I think 37000 miles or 60000 km is the upper limit to have the pump strainer cleaned. To me it’s a complete non sense from Skoda / VAG to recommend a time related Haldex oil change (every 3 years) instead of every XX miles.
  4. Is it really "No internet connection" or rather "No satellite connection" to get GPS signal and correct position? 🤔
  5. Errrk... Good that you had it done properly this time! 👍 How many miles on the clock?
  6. If I remember well, I think @MartiniB made this mod. He modified the setting to turn on/off the lights earlier or later (I can't remeber) than the default setting... I hope I don't make any confusion with someone else... 🤔🙃
  7. Shall they be OEM ones ?
  8. @Ivan8192 Thanks, I'll try that. Can you just remind me which controller has to be tuned please? Is it in 17-Instruments or 09-Electric? Then "Adaptation" menu I guess? Thanks .
  9. Hi all, Can someone help me finding back the VCDS coding to change the ambient lights color upon DCC mode selection please? e.g red for Sport mode / green for Eco mode , etc. I´ve used search function, but I can’t find the right post… 😞 Thanks for your help.
  10. @skylineguv Awesome car with these rims !👍
  11. Though dedicated to country with RHD vehicles, this part is most probably not manufactured in UK. I think it comes from Czech Republic or some other low labor costs country from Eastern Europe. The french Mk3 owner I was referring to, bought his RHD rear right fog light directly at his local dealer...
  12. A french owner tried this. He bought a RHD tail light to make the rear right fog light work after some coding modifications, but he didn't succeed. 😞 I've read this on a french Skoda forum. I was expecting he did it right to make the same mod on mine too. Unfortunately, he didn't. You're probably right, but it may also depend on national regulations.
  13. Ask your wife a tampax. Not very glamourous, but way more efficient. It's tip used by undewater photographer to avoid mist in the water resistant casing of their camera.
  14. I agree. You'll pay your downgrade twice. - Firstly to make the swap. - Secondly upon car resell. IMHO, it won't be a good point for you. Buyers should probably be much more interested in a Columbus fitted Mk3, than in a Bolero one, especially for a L&K trim level...
  15. Here is my own humble experience. I do drive 4 Michelin PS4. Those on the front axle, have formerly done 19000 km on the rear axle they have done ~9000 more on the front axle. They're far from their mid life! And my driving style is not always... smooth... 😄 Thus I think, you can forget this 12k miles rumor... Unfortunately, I can't tell about the 3 others, I've never driven them.
  16. Are they made of solid gold? 😲 I bought a full set (front+rear) for 28€ by my local dealer (4 years ago though)!
  17. I was may be thinking of automatic car wash and something going wrong with rotating brush or something... But may be a too 'Sci-Fi' theory... 🤪
  18. My water pump got stuck at only ~65000 km. As it was changed under extra warranty (90% granted by Skoda France) I had no choice but to get a new switchable pump. But non switchable would have got my preference if I didn’t get extra warranty.
  19. 😮 Do you know if it’s been torn off for any reason or possibly eaten by a rodent?
  20. @Schtum Thanks, I know that. FYI:
  21. Dont' worry, my car was horizontal. My wooden ramp just allow me to simultaneously get enough clearance to work under the car and compensate the slope of my park place.
  22. Yes, complete nonsense, that the workshop manual doesn't include any step to clean the pump strainer during the Haldex Oil change operation... All the more strange that Haldex Gen 4 had an external oil filter to be replaced upon each Haldex oil change. 🤔
  23. The funny thing now is that electric car will be another attendee in this ‘endless war’… 😁
  24. 🙄 endless war diesel vs. petrol...
