Resetting "Since Refuelling" trip
Additionally, may be activating the « Refill Quantity » on the maxi DOT with VCDS would be enough for what you’re looking for ?

Dsg fail in emergency mode. No reverse gear.
No you didn't. But the ES300h is the only Lexus that has an equivalent size to a Superb. Otherwise, I still even more don't understand the purpose of the comparison... But it's not very important.

Assist Systems Help Please
I fear something is going wrong. Both RTA and BSM remain active even if I use reverse gear on mine. By the way, the RTA should remain active upon reverse gear engaged. It's even in such situation that RTA is really useful. Otherwise, RTA is really useless if it deactivates upon reverse gear... 😕

IMHO, you cannot compare a Lexus (ES 300H?) which is considered as premium car, to with Skoda Superb which doesn't belong to the same category. For instance, an ES 300h is several thousands £ more expensive than a Superb (even an iV one). So the price difference may probably be higher than the total bill for a DSG box full replacement at your own costs... Sorry but I don't really understand the purpose of such a comparison. This being said, I don't even discuss that you don't like Skoda anymore. It's your right.

TMC not Working
Hi, I found this on a french Golf forum, but I don't know f this applies to UK too: "Due to the success of connected systems, car manufacturers (Stellantis, Ford, VW, Suzuki groups, etc.) and equipment manufacturers (Pioneer, etc.) did not wish to renew the equipment used for traffic information broadcasting thru RDS-TMC technology. Michelin Travel Partner, the main operator for traffic information broadcasting by RDS-TMC in France, has therefore decided to cease this transmission as of December 31, 2021, midnight. As a result, all vehicles and GPS equipped with the MICHELIN Trafic service and marketed in Europe since 2005 will cease to receive this information and alerts on their terminals, throughout France. On the other hand, a traffic information service will continue to be integrated free of charge in the Mobile ViaMichelin application, available on the Apple App Store (iOS) and on Google Play (Android)." This decision may be now applied to other countries... 😕

Activating features
Not that obvious. Since 2020, there are SFD additional protections, which require a dongle. It may be not as easy as it used to be with VCDS.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
You could be surprised what some specialist are able to do. Just 2 examples: And they're probably not the most awesome!

What have you done to your Superb III today?
I faced the same bad experience years ago. My 19" Trinity wheel had been repaired and repainted for ~250 € (tyre removed and wheel balanced once repainted). May be worth to look for an alloy wheels repair station in your neighborhood...

Ad Blue - RTFM
This figures looks really high 😮! I usually wait until 1000 or 500km AdBlue range left before filling up and once fully refilled (around 10-11l), it generally displays 14000km range... I assume the AdBlue tank has the same capacity whatever TDI150 or TDI190.

Brake pad warning light
According to maintenance manual, chapter 5.1, p124-125 (to be downloaded from cardiagn.com), the wear limit is 7mm thickness (incl. backing plate) for front pads and 7.6mm for rear pads.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
I think improvement is due to ambient temperature increase at 1st rank before winter/summer tyres themselves.

You must be very flexible 😉. I didn't even try!

2 months after..
The simple reason is that they share the same MQB plateform. To say it very simply, up to the B-pilar, a Mk3 Superb is more or less like a Golf.

Several questions, really....
Note: If you a take a look to my "how to guide": I've used a pressurized filler system. The process may be a little bit different if you don't have such a system. I remember the workshop manual describing 2 different ways to change the brake fluid depending on the way to fill the system. May be it's necessary to bleed the ABS pump in the procedure w/o pressurized filler system... 🤔 Sorry I can't remember. Check on cardiagn.com to be sure.

Brake fluid change criteria?
Nothing like that mentioned in the Skoda workshop manual.

Several questions, really....
I haven't read anything like that in Skoda workshop manuals (downloaded from cardiagn.com), when I did it by myself.

Haldex 5 service interval
I was aware of the time schedule, but I had never seen any mileage limit. Where did you find this information? Thank you for sharing.

Brake fluid change criteria?
A MY2010 C3 is definitely not one of these.

Brake fluid change criteria?
What may be good for a car might not for another one. I've change brake fluid on my mom's Citroën C3 MY2010 (please don't laugh 😁)... after 10 years. The brake pedal behavior was like night & day after brake fluid change! If you have a look to my how to guide, you can notice that a 3 year old brake fluid starts getting dark. Brake fluid property may not be drastically affected (I mean not to an extent your can feell it easily under your foot) but... I assume it may start increasing braking distance. 1 meter more, maybe a meter too much / too late... I'm not lecturing anyone. Just sharing a point of view.

Brake fluid change criteria?
Skoda recommends a brake fluid change after 3 years and then every 2 years. If you need a how to guide, just have a look here:

Off road wheels and tyres
I currently drive OEM 17" winter wheels on my TDI190 4x4. No problem with them. But I don't know the exact size of my front brake discs. Not sure if this helps... Sorry.🤔

Even in general day-to-day driving, the P7 are inferior to PS4 (at least to me in 19" version). The side wall are too soft and lead to side wear. After +/-20000km, they start being as grippy as a piece of soap in wet conditions. In such conditions I don't feel really safe with 4 P7, even with a 4x4 version. This unpleasant feeling has vanished with my PS4, even after similar mileage. Additionally I prefer the PS4, since they significantly improve the steering sharpness and give very precise feedbacks in the steering column. You can really "read" the road... With P7s, it almost like a blind man wearing mittens trying to read braille. But I give it to you, P7s should be compared to Michelin Primacy (HP?) instead of Michelin PS4.

Superb facelift debadging or alternative badges
Why not the glossy black Skida logo with white background? Have a look to kopacek.com. They propose something like that.
