Superb MK3 - Ticking/Window popping sound while driving
Or ask someone to drive your car and be the passenger. I think no one can identify this ticking sound better than you...

Columbus Map updates
It IS a Columbus, since standard soec on my L&K. The error message is most probably referring to the data on the SD card to upload the new map version... As a last chance, May be I can ask on Skoda Customer Service?...

Columbus Map updates
Err... It went bad... May be something wrong on my SD card. I’ve got an error message after few seconds of upsate process: « Navigation database unavailable » and... that’s it I then aborted the update and now I have no other message than « Navigation database unavailable » each time I go into the navigation menu. Any idea to get back to either the normal navigation menu (and map display) or to the update launch screen? Thanks.

Sportline seats - Rear kick protectors?
I have seen better ones on Amazon too (better meaning: no need to install them upside down + 2 small pockets). I have to find them again, since I have to change mine on my L&K. I’ll give you the link, if I find them back.

Superb MK3 - Ticking/Window popping sound while driving
Hmmm. Even harder to make suggestions... 🤔

Columbus Map updates
OK thanks. Of course I know I won't be able to change the MP3 file from the SD-card or the radio station during the update.

Is this rpm-dependant, or not at all?

Columbus Map updates
I'm about to upload the update too on tomorrow during a ~2h trip. Do you know if I will be able te listen to the radio or Media (SD card) source during the operation? Thanks.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
@JR RS I know. The most important is that it suits YOUR taste! 👍😉

What have you done to your Superb III today?
I would do the same, if I had a FL version. I'm not a big fan of the S K O D A on the boot, even if it's bit more 'trendy' and 'Volvo-like'.

What to expect from heated mirrors
I also have a MY2017. The heated mirror work on their own. I don't need to activate the rear window demister to make them work. I also use them from time to time to get rid of rain drops on the oustide mirrors. I have to say it's not very quick, but after 4-5 minutes, it's OK. Rain drops vanish.

Gandalf's Evolution
Then I need to go to my ophthalmologist... . Sorry, if I missed this point.

Phone ringer volume
Cool, if it can avoid you a heart attack upon each call...
-
Gandalf's Evolution
Sorry, I misunderstood you and thought the preload concerned the shock absorbers, intead of the sway bar.
-
Phone ringer volume
If I remember well, the only way to adjust the phone ringer volume, is to decrease it at the requested level, while it's ringing. To be confirmed.

Gandalf's Evolution
IMHO, since the lowering springs are shorter, the shock absorbers are necessarily already 'preloaded' (as if OEM springs were compressed to get the same length as the lowering springs).

Gandalf's Evolution
Err... The new ones are the 'golden' ones aren't they? Then I don't understand... Or... I need to go back to my ophthalmologist

Gandalf's Evolution
Since new ones are a bit shorter, does it modify the DCC reactions?

roofbar & roofbox recommendations - kombi
Cannot say anything about bike, but I have Thule Wingbars + Thule Alpine Tourer as roof box for my Estate. Fully satisfied with both bars and box! May be you need to have a close look to roof box wigth, so that it doesn’t get scratched by bike pedal, when you open it.

The Superb III Picture thread
Yes, this engine is as thirsty as a camel...

Superb MK3 - Ticking/Window popping sound while driving
May be a silly suggestion, but isn’t simply the ´speed alert’ system set to 25 mph?

Is my SLA working as it should?
I also have a LHD MY2017. Do you know if your car had the front lights SW update? I had this corrected in the beginning of my ownership, since the headlights settings were randomly good after lights « dance » upon engine start. Since this time, they work correctly.

Air intake location tdi 190?
Air intake is on the left (of the car), between bonnet handle (in the center of the front grill) and the left headlight. Then it goes to the air filter housing, which is in front of the battery. Fresh air flows from the bottom face of the filter housing through the filter upwards. But no worry, the air filter housing has a large grill in its lower face to let water drop to avoid wet filter. http://img110.xooimage.com/views/f/a/8/20180325_172834-5432128.jpg/ 😉

Mistyping or definitely a size out of specs? I think 35 is the right side wall height for 255 wide tyres. 🤔
