  1. @J.R. Thanks. I'll send you a list of french to translate into English. @Danoid. There will be pics, for sure, but sometime, it's better to write explanations to go with the pics.
  2. You can download all workshops manuals for free on cardiagn.com.
  3. Complete 60000 service done today : - Engine oil + filter change - New air filter - New cabin filter - New wipers (front + rear) - DSG6 oil + filter change All DIY 😎😁 ! I plan to write a "How to guide" for the DSG6 oil change, but I may need some help for technical translation. @J.R. Would you mind my asking to you per PM? I know you have very good skills in French. Thanks in advance.
  4. 👋 Here! Hope you're doing well @SashaGrace. Nothing new on your Mk3? Not seen this thread on the 1st page for a looong time.
  5. The chrom trim around doors is a known issue from Skoda. Though out of warranty on a MY2015. It may be worth a try to have them changed.
  6. This looks like an Amundsen to me.
  7. This may be country-dependant. My french 2017 TDI190 does. 🤔
  8. I've also heard about ATE Ceramic ones. Same braking performance as OEM ones, but no dark dust and wheels look clean longer.
  9. 😵 First time I read this. I've read a tow bar retrofit thread on a French forum, the author didn't mention that (Note: it was on a TDI too).
  10. There's a new law, that simply requires to have winter tyres on 4 wheels or to have snow chains (only for Drive wheels) in your boot from... let's say 11/15th to 3/15th (to be verified, I give these dates just on the top of my head) if you live (or even just drive thru) in specific departments know for snowy winters (French Alps, Pyrenees, Massif Central, Jura, Alsace...) I also have 19" wheels and bought 17" wheels for winter tyres. Nothing to complain about.
  11. Ar... Nonsense law... We have also some silly ones in France too... 🙄
  12. I think it's the VAG standard tool kit content. You're probably mentioning a kind of metal ring with a kind of very short hook? If yes this tools is necessary to remove the star shaped wheel screws cover, that you have on some Audi alloy rims, like this: The small hook has to be inserted in tiny hole of the screw cover, than just pull in the wheel axis direction.
  13. It's a DOT 4. I had this confirmed by the workshop manager of my local dealer. @Jase_31 I don't know if this can help you... Just in case.
  14. Errrr... Is the sun that strong these days, in Portugal, or ... did they have too much porto during lunch break... 🤔
  15. All that and not a single pic! Oh man... 😉
  16. SD cards are physical things... 😁
  17. @mfizz Sorry I can't remember, what the side effects are. I just kept in mind they may happen. Thus I decided to avoid running into trouble...
  18. Done only the 2nd one. It reduced slightly the response time. Be careful with the 1st one if you have DCC. Some owners complained of side effects with this mod.
  19. But the smaller the wheels diameter is, the less sharper the steering becomes. I really feel the difference between my 19" summer wheels and my 17" winter wheels.
  20. I think it's their normal process to avoid the battery being dead, if the operation lasts a bit. I find this clever. One can only regret, that their process doesn't include a final step to set the "auto lights" back ON.
  21. I was not that far... Very similar... But, it fooled me...
  22. @Mayoboat What's the size of the file you've downloaded from the Skoda portal (before unzipping)? The latest version is ~27.9Gb. It perfectly fits on a 32Gb SD card once unzipped. Another question : did you unzipped the file on your SD card using a Mac or a PC? I've read on a french Skoda forum that a Superb Mk3 owner did not succeed in unzipping the map onto his SD card 'cause he was using an iMac. He unzipped the same file using a PC and everything went OK...
  23. I would bet they come from an Audi... May be Q3 F3 (i.e. : Mk2).
