  1. The name was done at the end of 2017 (at least in France). Mine was built in november 2017 and "glossy black Trinity" were mentioned on the PO at this time.
  2. Interesting. I also have a trailer hitch (from factory), but I never had this message on the Maxi DOT. I assume the load on the hitch could be assessed with the pitch angle, which may be measured either by front beams (if Xenon equiped) or by DCC system. The latter one has sensors on both suspension arm. It's used for the control loop of the system. These sensors could assess the hitch load depending on the rear axle height variation. Just guessing... Regarding the trailer load, I'm much more curious on how it could be assessed...
  3. Wow , thanks a lot for all your search. I'm going to read this russian website carefully.
  4. @SashaGrace I would have bet, you would be one of the first to answer! The Queen of VCDS mods!... I've just been looking on an online ETKA and it seems, I should only need to add the memory buttons. No harness, no dedicated module! P/N is then 3V0959769A. It costs ~32€ If anyone with RHD L&K could share the coding of its driver seat, it would be much appreciated. Does anyone also know how to declare this new feature to overall system (Module 19-Gateway ?) ? Thanks.
  5. Hi all, I have a MY2017 L&k Superb, thus it has 2 electric front seats. It's a LHD version. Since few days, one of my kids is old enough to sit on the front passenger seat. But she's too small to see the road, when the seat has the settings that my wife likes. She needs to raise it a bit. But I now imagine my wife may be quickly fed up with adjusting 'her' seat position each time my older kid has been sitting on the front passenger seat. Since a memory seat module is available on driver seat for both LHD and RHD version, I was wondering if it could be feasible to install the memory seat module from a RHD version on my front passenger seat to solve this 'problem' and make everyone happy. I assume I would need the memory module, the button, a small harness to connect the system, and then a bit of VCDS coding. Do I miss something? Note: I did not pair the settings to any of the 3 key fobs, so this would not be an issue that it could make a mess with front passenger memories. Any advice on this mod? Thanks for your feedbacks.
  6. Let me guess... 🤔 « Sko... what ? BMW, what else !?! » 🙄😂
  7. Mine is a L&K and I’ve got glossy black 19’´ as an option. They suit perfectly to my estate version (in moon white).
  8. You can find several options on Kopacek.com 😉
  9. Not a big fan, may be THE step too far. IMHO there's something missing... I would put a Skoda logo back. But if this suits you, this is fine!
  10. The rear view camera is automatically washed when rear gear is engaged and you wash your rear window at the same time.
  11. Sorry I was meaning the towing hitch indeed. I made a bad translation.
  12. Did you have a look to the coolant tank? There's a silikat bag, supposed to preserve water pump lifetime. But it seems this bag may burst and then generates some water pump issue. FYI:
  13. @miloshst May be you can find some information here: https://cardiagn.com/2015-2018-skoda-superb-iii-3v-worshop-manual-owners-manual-wiring/ IMHO, there are 3 possible chapters to look at: - Maintenance - Electric system - Body repair - exterior
  14. Very strange, since VAG only recommend a cambelt change based on mileage (something like 180 or 210000 km depending on the engine type) but without any time mention. I know many garages still use the old recommendation to change it after five years, to save their turnover. Of course, if one doesn't drive that much, it sounds reasonable to replace the cambelt after 7-10 years if recommended mileage is still not reached. Very late to answer this, but a good tip to check what has been done is to ask for replaced used parts. Additionally, if they're parts you can easily access, just put a mark (with onyx marker or paint) on the part to be replaced.
  15. Fortunately for you it seems it still works when you tick boxes. What you describe, correspond to the standard behavior when towing (blind spot and rear traffic are deactivated). Therefore I would suggest to check the electric plug of your trailer (if you have one).
  16. + glossy black 'eye lid' on front fog lights
  17. This is unfortunately not systematically true. Here is my humble experience: Several years ago, I had Michelin PS2, whom I was very satisfied with. Time for change had come and PS3 version appeared on the market. I choose them, but I felt disappointed since there were less grippy. I kept them until it was time to change again. I then choose PS4 version, which reminded me how PS2 were good and PS4are even better. Several years later I read that PS2 was derived from a 'sporty rubber' version, whereas PS3 were derived form Michelin Pilot Exalto, instead of PS2. But... PE were more comfort oriented than PS2. This is why I felt disappointed, they were less efficient than PS2. Currently PS4 are derived from a 'sporty rubber' version again!
  18. Just ask a moderator, or 'report' your own message to explain, may be...
  19. Hi Default setting of suspensions is quite soft. I do have 19" (with DCC indeed), but I don't feel it too hard. Have a try if you can. If you're looking for wheel dimensions: 18" --> 8Jx18 ET44 - Tyres are 235/45/18 98V XL 19" --> 8Jx19 ET44 - Tyres are 235/40/19 96V XL
  20. Bad engineering idea to lower CO2 emissions . I'll really take my time to have a test drive on my next car to check it doesn't have this stupid default setting! I don't feel in a safe car, when coasting is activated! Additionally, I don't see how it can really save fuel and CO2 emissions since coasting sets the engine ~at idle, whereas normal mode fully shuts fuel injection and hence makes no CO2 emission at all. A quick look at instant consumption display on the dashboard simply confirms this.
  21. Hi, Lucky you! I own a 2017 L&K Estate with A5 front camera, Lane Assist, TJA and TSR. Here's the coding I have: Address A5: Frt Sens. Drv. Assist (R242) Labels:| 3Q0-980-65X-A5.clb Part No SW: 3QD 980 654 HW: 3Q0 980 654 A Component: MQB_B_MFK H08 1272 Serial number: 21081741P10043 Coding: 0204080200000401002623558150A90098000E100040 Shop #: WSC 33361 790 00140 ASAM Dataset: EV_MFKBoschMQBB 001001 ROD: EV_MFKBoschMQBB_001_VW36.rod VCID: 08317829B32018C44A-805C Note: it also has SLA, which may introduce differences, if you don't. Enjoy!
  22. Strange that VAG/Skoda have changed the DSG control laws. I don't have this on my DSG6 DQ250. If I really enjoy it, I doubt I would be satisfied with coasting as a 'standard' mode on my car.
  23. Oh, OK, I had forgotten the piston rod on the caliper. I was only thinking to the disc itself. Good point !
