Temperature readout?
Only a guess but would think DSG oil temp as there is a gear cog around the temp symbol.

My Third MK3 Superb But The First Diesel
Well the Superb is now parked in the drive until my next day shift on February 18th and it will have done just under 2,500 miles in 4 months because I have been taking the Karoq to work to keep the battery topped up and that has still only done 6,000 miles in the last 12 months with the wife working from home. At this rate the Superb having done just 8,730 miles in its first 12 months will only do 7,500 miles in year two and cost just over £600 per year in fuel at the current rate of use. Our monthly fuel bill is less than half it was a year ago thanks to Lockdown.

Karoq SEL 1.5TSi ACT Manual 34 month Update and Review
Not really on two counts. The car was only £23,500 new including Moon White metallic paint (no other options because we liked the standard SEL spec) with a discount of £1,500 from Skoda, then I honestly believe the 6 speed manual in the Karoq is more economical than the 7 speed DSG which adds weight also just look at our overall 46mpg over 29,000 miles which is good for a petrol 150PS SUV shaped spacious family car. The DSG works better with a diesel like my Superb plus in the winter if it snows I take the Karoq because you have more control in bad weather with a manual gearbox than with the DSG. A new Karoq with DSG and metallic paint now costs more than the Edition did 3 years ago and I was seriously tempted at the time to order a manual Edition with the beige leather interior and red paint instead. The Alcantara interior of our SEL also looks like a brand new car and friends have commented how premium the interior looks and feels for a Skoda.

Wife likes a bit of Head Banging.

Are all standard VAG stereos this bad?
My Dad listens to Ken Bruce but then again he is............79.

Are all standard VAG stereos this bad?
Perhaps it works better in the Superb liked it in my 2016 SE, missed it in my 2019 Sportline Plus and happily reunited with a Canton system again in my 2020 SEL. Sounds great listening to Planet Rock which is the only station I have on.

My Third MK3 Superb But The First Diesel
No because now everyone else is moving at the same speed as me whereas before I was frustrated by them moving so slowly. The other day I put my foot down and suddenly found myself doing 90mph in 4th gear so this diesel has enough poke for now.

My Third MK3 Superb But The First Diesel
Day 106 and third tank of diesel completed after 842 miles and just over 20 hours of driving with 41mph (66kph) average speed. Put 65.21litres in (£76.23 gone up 4 pence per litre since last tank) which works out at 58.72mpg not bad considering the snow and sub zero weather (-1C today). So far over 2,382miles (3,842km) it has averaged 60.43mpg or 21.44km per litre. Fuel used so far 179.21 litres and total cost £203.97. For comparison my previous petrol Superb over 2,077 miles (4 tanks) cost £274.26 and used 227.41 litres of petrol but it did have an extra 210bhp and 4WD.

Karoq SEL 1.5TSi ACT Manual 34 month Update and Review
No never had a vision problem with the factory blades but the Bosch ones are very quiet in comparison.

Karoq SEL 1.5TSi ACT Manual 34 month Update and Review
Yeah got my money from the originals. I was following all the good comments about the Bosch ones though and didn’t realise how noisy the factory ones were until I replaced them. Good to listen to folks on here.

New Octavia 2020 vRS?
Turbo size may be different as well like a Golf GTi having a smaller IS20 (as used on the 245) compared to the Golf R and its bigger IS38 turbo allowing more power to be produced.

Hello everyone.
Welcome to Briskoda Oliver if the registration is FA17 MLO then I ran it for 29,000 miles from new in August 2017 and it is one of the earliest 245 in the UK with probably only 100 or so on a 17 plate.

York Fitness Bike Plan

New Octavia 2020 vRS?
The petrol hybrid uses a smaller 1.4 litre engine whereas the more powerful petrol only Vrs uses a 2.0 litre engine for greater performance with more power and torque. In my 2017 Vrs245 which has the same basic engine when put on a rolling road it actually produced 249bhp (Skoda claim 242bhp) and 400nm (Skoda claim 370nm) of torque.

Thanks hope you find a good one.

After a Black Cab the Toyota Prius seems to be the second most popular taxi in Leicester and they all drive at exactly 30mph so no point in hailing one if you are in a hurry.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Agree with Colin on this as I've been to his house in our Karoq and despite its generous ground clearance decided that 2nd gear and 15mph was the MAXIMUM speed to take his giant local speed humps. Car just passed it's first MOT with no issues at 29,000 miles.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Hopefully Skoda will suck up the cost and replace both front springs (to be on the safe side) under warranty because that could have caused a very nasty accident.

Kwik Fit did a service and MOT on my 2010 Fabia Estate back in 2013 for just £115 much cheaper than my Skoda dealer at the time using genuine parts.

Our local Kwik Fit are very knowledgeable and when my free services have been used at the Skoda dealer I will definitely be putting my business there and saving money, something that any Scottish person would understand and appreciate.
