Yeah I have had this before and found it great, only got fast glass atm. I brought a bottle thinking I didn’t have one, to only find I did have one with my kit at home . steel wool, bloody heck lol. Doesn’t it even leave any scratches?

Hello, just cleaning the car and on the front windscreen we are trying to clean it (smear free) but all we are getting is the sticky stuff from the protective film when it was first delivered. Obviously the dealer couldn’t be bothered to clean inside the car lol. Anyway, any tips on how to remove this sticky substance?

Link doesn’t seem to be working for me now, anyone got any other led bulbs they recommend?

Just to add, keep all details of who you spoke to, when (time and date) and their position, further down the line if it goes as far as small claims you would have all the required information.

Check out my thread with regards to the wireless charging. Slightly different circumstances but same issues with it not being delivered as specified. Anyhow, tell the dealer that the car was not delivered as expected. I would contact the ombudsman for advice but from experience they can’t do anything further until 8 weeks after you made the complaint to the dealer. Just keep it to e-mails so you have a paper trail, it’s very hard to prove anything over the phone. Also give them a deadline to get back to you and warn that you will contact the ombudsman is nothing progresses. Hope it works out for you.

Yeah I love it tbh, different machine compared to the Poli gti but it does go well when needed tbh. Surprisingly I find parking quite easy even compared to a smaller car. I love the LED lights/ambient lights , think they really do just finish off the cabin at night worth the extra money. Wierd that my insurance actually went up though. Anything you particularly like?

To add to this, does anyone know the size bulb for the glove box?

One thing I’ve noticed on the DSG is going from drive to park, the engine goes to stop/start and then turns back on when going into park if you do it too slowly.

You would of thought so. I did ask a few questions when doing it as at first he thought my build was an edition . Never mind, sorted now and can’t be happier with the car it’s self. Safe to say I won’t be returning there in a hurry.

What a pain it has been haha. Well contacted the ombudsman and said they can’t do anything until at least 8 weeks after I first made the complaint, but they did offer some sound advice. They said to mentioned I’ve spoke to them and that the car wasn’t as described/ expected and to request an agreement. I heard a few hours later from the dealer to say they are offering to refund the £80...after the hassle i was happy to accept that and for me it was a bit of a result. Would advice anyone that that has any hassle to contact the ombudsman for advice.

Phoned them and their escape is the fact it was on a signed order form before the build was placed. They just said to insist on the dealer to sort it. Will call all the motor trade ombudsman tomorrow and see what they say before calling the dealer or they can be the mediator as I’ve had enough of the dealers attitude.

I found this problem on my 1.8tsi polo gti manual. If i had the car in first gear and pulled off slowly/ just lift the clutch completely, it would hop along a bit. Would suggest to me it’s a vw manual problem.

They are sending me another tablet holder out through the post should be here late this week or early next week. Happy with that.

Guys.... In need of a a bit of help and advice. So I originally ordered wireless charging and smart link at £80 as a option. Anyway this never got delivered due to the well published/spoken about phone box issue. That’s fine, however I have been charged for wireless RSE app. I apparently ordered this, I can’t recall it even being an option let alone being charged for something I was never aware of and was informed at the time of order that this was the wireless charging when asked. Wireless charging was the only £80 option I had on the build not this rear seat entertainment app now the dealer is telling that was what I ordered (not wireless charging) and tough luck sunshine Below is my order form and car wow build. So so my questions are... was this even an option? And what the heck is it? And what hat can I do about it as I’m getting nowhere with my dealer/dealership? Thanks in advanced...

See I haven’t got the canton but I set the focus for the middle of the car, just before the rear seats and makes the bass more prominent in the standard set up. All about opinion I guess lol.

I don’t have to turn my Bluetooth off when I plug my iPhone into USB. Just turns itself to mirror link.

Can also be changed in the settings or not in eco mode.

Yeah even says 2x tablet holders on my order form, can’t see a way out of it for the dealer tbh. One of the reasons I got them was because it came as a pair. Wish i I kinda waited and not ordered them as on eBay, a Skoda dealer on there does a whole load of stuff for £68.

Got to say it’s a dream to drive, so happy with it. Great for the kids too. Much better drive and better made than the polo.

Don’t use Sanjiv if buying from here, he is so rude and not that helpful at all. Not sure about the rest of the sales people but he is hopeless. Tried charging me £399 paint protection although I instructed him I didn’t want it, charged for two tablet holders but only got one and charged for wireless charging (although it was deleted) I still got charged. Trying to rectify these is a nightmare and only had hassle when trying to take the take the paint protection off. Not a happy bunny.
