  2. I had same issue with thicker outer sheath and clips so just added some metal cable ties as well to double secure them in place.
  3. i saw something somewhere about needing some special pliers to get the hose off ???
  4. so got a slow leak from water pump so time to swop out any advice please or any special tools or anything to look out for thanks in advance 😊
  5. I had same with both cables gently use some heat on the tube guides the plastic inserts melt quickly and pull straight out.
  6. do you know if they did a wheel allignment after the suspe4nsion work as this would lead to your steering wheel being off allignment if they have not done a wheel allignment.
  7. thats how they were meant to be you have to hold it on to achieve the l movement hence why the switches snap like mine has and they are not available to buy also skoda realised what a stupid switch this was and changed the switch the next year.
  8. no they come straight out no puller required the whole job takes an hour for both sides its very easy mate and personally for the price of the bearings I would suggest while you have the rear arm down you do both just make sure you have 2 jacks makes the whole process a lot easier
  9. no lol your totally wrong but each to their own
  10. Well anyone with any brains would still care because it's a good price does not mean you have to put crap in and if anyone checks they will see that fli speakers have a very good reputation and following.
  11. the ones i suggested have fantastic sound quality even on a ahem noisy car
  12. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/385104536878 honestly ive got them fitted front and rear fantastic sound quality and no distortion fitt well as well.
  13. cheers bud i did think it was weird as when i changed my own cat that was not there lol 😛
  14. Ive just picked up a new cat to replace on my mates car as his has failed and was wondering if any of you know what the wire in the photo coming out the tubing is for ???
  15. get the flock out of here 😁
  16. Hi meant to update and say the hd ratchet strap did the trick and all sorted now thanks guys
  17. Yeah tried the washing up liquid I was using silicon spray as well slippy as chit lol I've got a heavy duty ratchet strap coming tomorrow hopefully that will give it the extra force it needs I dont really want to go down the route of stripping out subframe if possible.
  18. the psb bush inserts can only go in one way bud 😞
  19. No mate they are in really good shape tbh the issue seems to be the psb bush is pushing the insert in making it to tight to get the wishbone in and ive had a dremmel wire brush on the console housing they are dead flat and clean.
  20. the issue is not the bushes mate its the wishbones wont go in them.
  21. tried that as well mate still no go the bushes seem to be to tight tbh if i remove the insert i can knock the bush all the way into the console housing but if i try to with the insert in the bush does not even go flush to the console something is just to tight but they are stating these are the correct bushes.
  22. well ive snapped 2 ratchet straps and ruined a rubber mallet still the wishbones wont go into these psb bushes its literally like the bush insert is to tight ive used special silicone spray as well still no go at a loss now.
  23. And were they flush at front but sticking out at back I'm a bit concerned they seem to long but they are the correct ones.
  24. tbh mate they were a pig just to get in the consoles and they are longer than oem ones so you either have some at front or protruding at back past the edge of the console housing and ive tried the ratchet strap twice i gave up and came in lol.
  25. Ok applied some heat and ive got the old bushes out cleaned up the consoles and put in the new bushes fyi both old bushes had splits so good call. Ok so this is where im stuck I cannot for the life of me get the wishbones to go back in the new bushes they are so tight just cant get them in im stuck atm ???
