  1. it's 100% the pedal or pedalbox somewhere and not the brakes
  2. more information on this please! Would it be possible with OBDeleven?
  3. Mine was looked at under approved used warranty and is also 69 plate. I will keep this updated
  4. Mine went in to the dealers last week for this issue. They 'changed some parts' They couldn't have test driven the car as it loudly clicked when i was pulling out of the dealership. Might go back, might not bother. It is bloody annoying though
  5. You probably should yes. If they can get out of paying out, they will
  6. dont go by that video it's way over complicated! use this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZOiYGHoCOg&ab_channel=GSOUP He does the whole thing with one hand it's that easy.. Could be worth just buying an obdeleven to do the task - it's really useful for other things as well, scanning for faults and making adjustments to the car set up. For the brake change it's one click to open the caliper, then one click to close it again. fool proof
  7. I did mine yesterday using OBDeleven. Took an hour for both sides. The OEM discs are seriously ****e and need to be recalled. Here are mine after 18k miles. Replaced with pagid parts from halfords £70 all in compared to £380 from the stealers
  8. Interestingly, I saw a YouTube short about this on a Skoda Rapid. Seemed to suggest it is the stalk and the connectors within it. A quick squirt of contact cleaner resolved the issue, at least in the short term. If it keeps happening, i will give it a try, although I'm still under approved used warranty, soI may ask them to check it out
  9. Mine seems to be getting worse and more regularly wiping without being on auto. anyone else found a fix for this?
  10. can i link up this app to my odbeleven? I haven't been able to get it working
  11. Hi did you change them yourself? Mine need doing and are only 17k but 5 years old.. I've seen a few youtube tutorials which look good but the polish guy doing the videos is a bit too slap dash for my liking so want to do it properly
  12. When the screen needs replacement due to chips or cracks, do they replace it like for like with a genuine part? I hope they don't try and cheap out with a non genuine screen I can imagine the camera and sensors also cause issues!
  13. These wheels were one of the main reasons I bought the car. I love them, although I haven't thought about what happens when the lacquer starts to peel and the wife kerbs them.. has anyone had these sprayed a solid colour? any photos?
  14. can you connect this app to ODBEleven? I can't seem to get it to connect which is annoying af
  15. my 190 TDI is anything but sluggish. It's quicker in every way than my 2.0 TDI remapped Octavia
  16. I put in £13.22 and it went up to 135 miles and 3 bars up the scale. A bit of sport mode later and it arrived with 2 bars 😂
  17. hi, i currently have a 1.5 tsi fabia as a hire car which I've got to return later today with 2 bars of fuel in. the garage have been a pita so I don't want to over fill it. How much should I put in to get to 2 bars of fuel costing me the bare minimum? It's currently showing 30 miles left and red thanks
  18. Hi all, really randomly on the drive to work this morning, wiper stalk in the off position, the front wiper kept going on it's own. I'm not sure if it happened when I turned the steering wheel right or it was sheer luck. has anyone ever had this before? It stopped after I washed the screen a few times, and turned them up to full and off again. i don't want a gremlin car :( ... It does have an issue with a warning light on the dash for the dynamic turning lights which I hope is a sensor for how level the car is. the matrix lights still work but the dipped beam is at it's bottom setting when active to avoid dazzling others. booked in for next week under warranty.
  19. Hi all, this has now become every time the window is used. Video of the noise here, be interested to see if anyone else has the same. Also notice the window creaks when going back up so maybe it's related? The noise is near the end 28 seconds in https://youtube.com/shorts/tZULB6b05yU?si=IOWvXR_y0QAus4k_
  20. Mines going back to the dealers with this issue in a few weeks. I've also got an issue with the self leveling lights so not a wasted journey
  21. interesting. I'm still on the P7's but they are dry rotting a bit, looking to change to all season as the wet grip on these P7s is shocking! Tempted to go back to Falken FK520's as they were incredible and put them on my wife's golf recently
  22. This is mine. Engine off. https://youtu.be/j4uHz_rKDcQ?si=ZyNwqU9tZ5VSyhjq Where would the switch be? Where to apply silicone/ grease? Behind the gator? Anyone done it or have pics?
