Brake pedal noise in traffic - related to the handbrake being applied
Mine went in to the dealers last week for this issue. They 'changed some parts' They couldn't have test driven the car as it loudly clicked when i was pulling out of the dealership. Might go back, might not bother. It is bloody annoying though

Rear Brake pad and Disc Change Superb Mk3
dont go by that video it's way over complicated! use this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZOiYGHoCOg&ab_channel=GSOUP He does the whole thing with one hand it's that easy.. Could be worth just buying an obdeleven to do the task - it's really useful for other things as well, scanning for faults and making adjustments to the car set up. For the brake change it's one click to open the caliper, then one click to close it again. fool proof

Rear Brake pad and Disc Change Superb Mk3
I did mine yesterday using OBDeleven. Took an hour for both sides. The OEM discs are seriously ****e and need to be recalled. Here are mine after 18k miles. Replaced with pagid parts from halfords £70 all in compared to £380 from the stealers

wipers turning on without being asked to
Interestingly, I saw a YouTube short about this on a Skoda Rapid. Seemed to suggest it is the stalk and the connectors within it. A quick squirt of contact cleaner resolved the issue, at least in the short term. If it keeps happening, i will give it a try, although I'm still under approved used warranty, soI may ask them to check it out

Heated windscreen - Can you see the wires?
When the screen needs replacement due to chips or cracks, do they replace it like for like with a genuine part? I hope they don't try and cheap out with a non genuine screen I can imagine the camera and sensors also cause issues!

wipers turning on without being asked to
Hi all, really randomly on the drive to work this morning, wiper stalk in the off position, the front wiper kept going on it's own. I'm not sure if it happened when I turned the steering wheel right or it was sheer luck. has anyone ever had this before? It stopped after I washed the screen a few times, and turned them up to full and off again. i don't want a gremlin car :( ... It does have an issue with a warning light on the dash for the dynamic turning lights which I hope is a sensor for how level the car is. the matrix lights still work but the dipped beam is at it's bottom setting when active to avoid dazzling others. booked in for next week under warranty.

strange noise from the drivers door area
Hi all, this has now become every time the window is used. Video of the noise here, be interested to see if anyone else has the same. Also notice the window creaks when going back up so maybe it's related? The noise is near the end 28 seconds in https://youtube.com/shorts/tZULB6b05yU?si=IOWvXR_y0QAus4k_

Looking to get a more comfortable ride
interesting. I'm still on the P7's but they are dry rotting a bit, looking to change to all season as the wet grip on these P7s is shocking! Tempted to go back to Falken FK520's as they were incredible and put them on my wife's golf recently
