Karoq Space Saver
You can fit the 135/80R18 space saver tyre to a 3.5Jx18 ET25.5 5/112 57.1 steel space saver rim. This rim is normally used with a 125/70R18 space saver tyre and was originally used with the Octavia MK3 or maybe earlier cars than that. The 125/70R18 tyre closely matches the outside diameter of tyre sizes such as 195/65R15, 205/55R16, 225/45R17, etc., that the Octavia MK3 uses...but Skoda supplies this wheel (tyre and rim) less appropriately for cars such as the Superb MK3 and Karoq. In my view, this is a bodge to save Skoda money by reducing the number of different spare wheels that Skoda dealers need to keep in stock, etc. You might think that a 135/80R18 tyre is 10mm wider than a 125/70R18 tyre, but the actual inflated width of a tyre not only depends on its nominal size (the nominal size is marked on the sidewall, such as 125/70R18, 135/80R18, etc.) but on the actual width of the rim to which it is fitted. The actual inflated width (measured from sidewall to sidewall at the widest point) of a 135/80R18 tyre when fitted to a 3.5J rim is only about 7mm wider than a 125/70R18 tyre fitted to the same 3.5J rim width. So the question is...is there enough room in the spare wheel well for a space saver tyre that is about 7mm wider than the 125/70R18? Outside diameter of tyre 215/50R18 672.2mm 125/70R18 632.2mm (6.0% smaller outside diameter compared to 215/80R18) 135/80R18 673.2mm (0.1% bigger outside diameter compared to 215/50R18) Continental spare-saver tyre 135/80R18 https://www.camskill.co.uk/m129b0s7672p188874/Continental_Tyres_Temp_Space_Saver_Continental_SContact_Continental_S_Contact_135_80_R18_T_104M_TL_Fuel_Eff_%3A_XC_Wet_Grip%3A_XC_NoiseClass%3A_XC_Noise%3A_XC For the Kodiaq, Skoda uses a 145/85R18 space saver tyre fitted to a 4Jx18 ET28 5/112 57.1 steel space saver rim. This isn't surprising, because a 125/70R18 space saver tyre would be far too small for a vehicle with such big outside diameter tyres...such as 215/65R17, 235/55R18, etc.

Does the 1.5 TSI Have Rear Disc Brakes?
They are easy to find if you search "M14x1.5" on aliexpress and filter the results to a price between $0 to $2 so that you don't have to wade through all the expensive items. £1.17 for two seems almost too good to be true if it includes shipping to the UK. I've never purchased anything from aliexpress so do let everyone know if it's a scam or whether you really can get a bargain on aliexpress. However, I won't be purchasing them because I just use my trolley jack or VAG supplied scissor jack to carefully adjust the height of the car so that the weight of the wheel/tyre is supported by the ground while I insert the wheel bolts. 2pcs Wheel Alignment Pin Wheel Hanger Pin Set Rim Stud Pin Guide Tool Aluminum Alloy for Car Tire Repair M14x1.5 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006528574424.html

VRS Alloy Wheel & Maching Tyre
The 18" rims Skoda fitted have an offset of ET51. If a lower number was better Skoda would have fitted a lower number and not ET51. However, some owners do seem to like using a lower offset, ie. moving the centre of the tyre further out in the wheelarch...but this is mainly done for appearance. When big changes are made to the offset, things such as steering can be negatively effected because the front steering geometry only works properly within a narrow range of offsets. Additionally, moving the tyres to the edges of the wheelarches will make the sides of the car dirty very quickly which is why Skoda positions the tyres well within the wheelarches. If you do fit a non-standard offset, you may need to inform your insurance company who may increase your premiums or refuse to insure you because that might be considered a modification.

VRS Alloy Wheel & Maching Tyre
Renault Laguna rims won't fit the Octavia Mk2 because they use a different BCD (Bolt Circle Diameter). Octavia MK2 rims 6.5Jx16 ET50 5/112 57.1 (205/55R16) 7Jx17 ET54 5/112 57.1 (225/45R17) 7.5Jx18 ET51 5/112 57.1 (225/40R18) https://www.lllparts.co.uk/catalogs/skoda/CZ/OCT/663/6 Like the Octavia MK2, the Octavia MK3 also uses the 7.5Jx18 ET51 5/112 57.1 specification for its 18" rims. There are some new 18" alloy rims for the Octavia MK3 in the Skoda accessory catalogue. The price seems to be a little over £200 for each new 18" alloy rim. 7.5Jx18 ET51 5/112 57.1 alloy rims (Octavia MK3) (from Skoda accessory catalogue) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/alu-kola/c/alloyWheels?q=%3ApriceAsc%3ArimDiameter%3A18%22%3AcarType%3AOctavia%2BIII%2B%282017%2B%29&text=#

Upgrade standard style suspension? Too bouncy..
What are the OEM part numbers are the front and rear springs? Once you have found that out, you can perhaps look at increasing the stiffness of the rear springs such as going up one, two, or three in the hierarchy. The Kilen online spring catalogue suggests that you might have 5Q0411105GN front springs and 3Q0511115M rear springs. You can see in the chart below that 3Q0511115M is 5th in the hierarchy. So if that's the rear spring OEM part number then perhaps look at rear springs with OEM part numbers 3Q0511115N, 3Q0511115P, and 3Q0511115Q. Which one you choose will depend on availability of aftermarket springs and their specification, plus your own preference. Listed below are the ten standard ride height rear springs for the Superb MK3 4x4. They form a hierarchy from the softest and shortest spring (3Q0511115AH) to the longest and stiffest spring (3Q0511115BC). Not surprisingly, your factory rear springs will be somewhere in the middle around 3Q0511115M. Advice on tyres
15" tyres are more comfortable than 16" tyres...and the Octavia MK3 1.5 petrol has 288x25mm front brake discs according to Jurid on autodoc, so 15" tyres should clear the front brake calipers. 195/65R15 are an even more economical tyre size than 205/55R16. Octavia Estate 1.2 spare wheel?
If you order the foam and jack kit through a VAG parts department they should be able to confirm whether the standard Octavia MK3 205/55R16 6.5Jx16 ET46 wheel fits in the spare wheel well. I suspect it will.

Octavia Estate 1.2 spare wheel?
You can purchase the below foam and jack kit from any VAG parts department by quoting OEM part number 5E0093860E. They can check by reference to your car's VIN number whether this is the correct kit for your car. The kit includes everything except for the actual spare wheel, which can be purchased separately. Octavia MK3 foam and jack kit 5E0093860E (1329CZK is about £44.95) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/sada-pro-vymenu-rezervniho-kola-16/p/5E0093860E The below link shows a steel rim without a tyre, but mytyres can also supply this rim with a tyre of your choice already fitted and balanced (including new valve). Advice on tyres
I think you mean 205/55R16 The Falken ZIEX ZE310 EcoRun came first for subjective comfort in this 2023 tyre test, although sixth overall. Fortunately, the test was for the 205/55R16 tyre size, mostly 205/55R16 91V. The 205/55R16 is Europe's most popular car tyre size and therefore it's a cheaper tyre size than most other 16" tyre sizes. For this reason, there isn't a lot of money to be saved by going for one of the non-premium brands. Bear in mind that this tyre test was published quite a while age so won't include all the latest tyres. 2023 tyre test of 13 premium summer touring tyres in size 205/55R16 (published 23/2/2023) https://www.tyrereviews.com/Article/2023-Tyre-Reviews-Summer-Tyre-Test.htm

According to tyrereviews, the following six tyres are all rated higher for comfort than the Falken ZIEX ZE310. Advice on tyres
The Falcon ZIEX ZE310 has been replaced by the Falcon ZIEX ZE320. However, both of these models are summer tyres and the rubber will harden when the temperature drops below about 7 degrees Centigrade in the winter. If you're going to use them in the winter below about 7 degrees Centrigrade you would be better off going for all-season tyres. For example, in the snow good all-season tyres have about twice the grip as summer tyres...and that means you shouldn't be driving on summer tyres in the snow, but even in cold rain good all-season tyres still have a massive grip advantage over summer tyres. Here's a 205/55R16 91V version of the Falken ZIEX ZE320 listed on mytyres https://www.mytyres.co.uk/rshop/tyre/Falken/ZIEX-ZE320/205-55-R16-91V-BLK/R-508856

280 4x4 wheels and tyres
The Octavia MK3 also uses the 7.5Jx18 ET51 5/112 57.1 specification for its 18" rims. So the question could also be has anyone used 18" Octavia MK3 rims on their Superb MK3. I doubt it because it would reduce the front and rear track by 14mm, ie. 7mm each side due to the different offset. Bear in mind though, that the Superb uses 235/45R18 MK3 tyres for its 18" tyre size and the Octavia MK3 uses 225/40R18 tyres for its 18" tyre size, ie. the outside diameter of the Superb MK3 tyre sizes are about 5% bigger than the outside diameter of the Octavia MK3 tyre sizes. As you can see in the chart below, both 225/40R18 and 235/45R18 have a minimum rim width of 7.5J. ETRTO approved rim widths for passenger car tyres 225/40R18 7.5-8.0-9.0 235/45R18 7.5-8.0-9.0

Rear spring confusion VRS 230
Aftermarket spring brands often disagree on the exact specification of an OEM part number. It looks like the specification of the Sachs 994 925 rear spring is somewhere between the KYB RA7156 and KYB RA7157, so you might not notice much difference to what you have now. There's always a little bit of risk involved with aftermarket springs as to exactly what you will get, because the actual springs don't always exactly match the specification that the manufacturer gives, such as being a few millimetres different from the quoted length, etc...and sometimes they make big mistakes. Sachs 994 925 rear springs (from the photo it looks like there are about 7.5 coil turns) (actual photo, not generic) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/sachs/13786056#coil-spring
-
Rear spring confusion VRS 230
Sachs 994 925 rear springs match 5Q0511115R, not 5Q0511115Q...so is a slightly longer and stiffer spring than 5Q0511115Q. You might find that your rear end is slightly higher than before and slightly harder. KYB, Kilen, and Lesjofors all correctly identified your rear spring as 5Q0511115Q in their online spring catalogues. KYB RA7156, Kilen 63142, and Lesjofors 4285743 rear springs should all match 5Q0511115Q exactly https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/oem/5q0511115q?supplier[]=85&supplier[]=246&supplier[]=253 Notice below, that KYB sells one spring for 5Q0511115Q and one spring for 5Q0511115R. Although they both have 11.25mm wire diameters, the stiffer 5Q0511115R spring has less coil turns...which is why it is stiffer. The lower number of coil turns is reflected in the weight, ie. 1.6kg for the stiffer spring versus 1.7kg for the softer spring. KYB RA7156 rear spring (matches 5Q0511115Q) (1.7kg) (about 7.8 coil turns) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/kyb/12819028#coil-spring KYB RA7157 rear spring (matches 5Q0511115R) (1.6kg) (about 7.3 coil turns) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/kyb/12819029#coil-spring

WHEEL SIZES
The Rapid rims won't fit the Octavia MK3, because the Rapid rims have a Bolt Circle Diameter of 5/100, whereas the Octavia MK3 rims have a Bolt Circle Diameter of 5/112. There will be a very noticeable difference in the ride comfort for most people between 225/45R17 and 205/55R16. It will help further if you go for 205/55R16 tyres with soft and flexible sidewalls, such as good quality all-season tyres. For best ride comfort avoid UHP (Ultra High Performance) summer tyres because these are made for drivers who like their cars to feel like racing cars through the corners...so have stiffer and less flexible sidewalls, which results in a harder ride. Without the tyres, you might find a set of four Skoda alloys (from Skoda's accessory catalogue, not their usual parts catalogue which can be over twice the price) for about £700. Steel rims will be much less, perhaps about £240 for a set of four from an aftermarket manufacturer such as Alcar...although you would need to add a set of wheel trims for a neat appearance. Here's some examples of suitable tyres and rims. 6.5Jx16 ET46 5/112 57.1 alloy rim 5E0071496D 8Z8 https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/alu-kolo-ilias-16-octavia-iii/p/5E0071496D+8Z8 6.5Jx16 ET46 5/112 57.1 alloy rim 5E0071496L 8Z8 https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/alu-kolo-new-velorum-16-octavia-iii-octavia-iv/p/5E0071496L+8Z8 Continental AllSeasonContact 2 205/55R16 91V (Euro label C B 70dB) https://www.camskill.co.uk/m139b0s8003p221962/Continental_Tyres_All_Season_Car_Continental_Conti_All_Season_Contact_2_205_55_R16_91V_TL_Fuel_Eff_%3A_C_Wet_Grip%3A_B_NoiseClass%3A_B_Noise%3A_70dB Vredestein Quatrac 6 205/55R16 91V (Euro label C B 70dB) https://www.camskill.co.uk/m139b0s8003p202105/Vredestein_Tyres_All_Season_Car_Vredestein_Quatrac_6_205_55_R16_91V_TL_Fuel_Eff_%3A_C_Wet_Grip%3A_B_NoiseClass%3A_B_Noise%3A_70dBhttps://www.camskill.co.uk/m139b0s8003p202105/Vredestein_Tyres_All_Season_Car_Vredestein_Quatrac_6_205_55_R16_91V_TL_Fuel_Eff_%3A_C_Wet_Grip%3A_B_NoiseClass%3A_B_Noise%3A_70dB In the chart below, you can see that 205/55R16 has a 0.4% smaller outside diameter compared to 225/45R17. Less than 1.5% difference is generally considered insignificant...and besides they are both Skoda approved sizes for the Octavia MK3 so this point isn't something that needs to be considered because Skoda has given both of these tyre sizes the OK. Outside diameter of tyre 225/45R17 634.3mm 205/55R16 631.9mm (0.4% smaller outside diameter compared to 225/45R17)

Tyre quandary
One of the problems with the 225/45R19 tyre size on the Karoq 4x4 is that Skoda have fitted them to relatively wide 8" rims, which makes the ride noticeably harder than if they had fitted this tyre size to narrower 7J rims. However, even if you fitted the 225/45R19 tyres to 7J rims the improvement in ride would still be no where near the improvement that you could get by going to smaller diameter rims such as 16" with higher tyre sidewalls. One non-standard option is 7Jx16 ET45 5/112 57.1 from the Yeti and either standard Karoq 4x4 225/60R16 tyres or slightly bigger 235/60R16. One advantage of the 235/60R16 compared to 225/60R16 is that they are a much cheaper tyre size. Here's a non-standard option below, but there are many other possible options...some standard, some non-standard. As well as being far more comfortable than any 19" option, this 16" option provides lots of rim protection from kerbing damage because the tyres' sidewalls bulge out by about 19mm each side. By comparison, the sidewalls on a 225/45R19 fitted to an 8J rim only bulge out by about 2mm each side...which is tiny...so this wheel is very vulnerable to kerbing damage. Roomster/Fabia
The Roomster is based on the Fabia MK2, so not surprisingly the specification of many of the rims are common between both cars. However, the Roomster sometimes has slightly bigger tyre sizes than the Fabia MK2...even when fitted to the same rim specification. In the chart below, I've listed a couple of differences between the Fabia MK2 and Roomster wheel sizes. Bear in mind, that 14" wheels won't clear the front brake calipers on models with the big 288x25mm front brake discs...so if you have these big front brake discs, 15" wheels will be the minimum size. If you want a non-standard 15" wheel for your Fabia MK2 or Roomster, 5.5Jx15 ET40 5/100 57.1 rims (from the Fabia MK4) could be a good option in conjunction with 185/60R15 tyres. Steel rims in this specification a particularly light, as they weigh about 6.60kg each. By comparison, the standard 6Jx15 ET43 5/100 57.1 steel rims weight considerably more at about 8.03kg. 5Jx14 ET35 5/100 57.1 rim Fabia MK2 165/70R14 Roomster 175/70R14 6Jx14 ET37 5/100 57.1 rim Fabia MK2 185/60R14 Roomster 185/65R14

225/40R18 tyres have an outside diameter 3.0% smaller than the standard Octavia MK3 Scout tyres, as shown in the chart below. It's probably better to keep closer to the outside diameter of the original 225/50R17 tyres. Outside diameter of tyres 225/50R17 656.8mm 225/40R18 637.2mm (3.0% smaller outside diameter compared to 225/50R17) Shock absorber buffers are aka bump stops.

Front pads and discs.
This sounds like uncompetitive behaviour by preventing other companies from selling a product. Fortunately, there are plenty of alternatives such as Jurid if you don't want one of the biggest brands such as ATE and TRW. Jurid might even supply some of the brake pads on VAG cars including Skoda as original equipment, ie. OE. Information about Jurid Jurid is a German brand of premium brake systems and one of the world leaders, both in the field of original equipment and after-sales service, which belongs to the famous American corporation Federal Mogul, now part of the global company Tenneco (USA).

VRs suspension on a Scout
The Octavia MK3 Scout has increased ride height suspension and bigger outside diameter tyres, eg. 225/50R17 instead of 225/45R17. I suggest you fit standard ride height springs and shock absorbers. That should lower the ride height by about 15mm, maybe a bit more. The Scout probably has either 85mm or 90mm front buffers, so change these to 70mm. The Scout probably has 127mm rear buffers and these are also correct for standard ride height suspension, so no change there.

VRS Brake Discs & Pads
If you've got a pre-facelift Octavia MK3 VRS it probably has the small non-ventilated 272x10mm rear brake discs. The later facelift Octavia MK3 petrol VRS model has ventilated 310x22mm rear brake discs, so perhaps look at upgrading the rear brakes first.
