Replacing 16" wheels with 15"
The 215/45R16 tyres on the Fabia MK3 use a 7Jx16 ET46 rim specification. Fitting 195/55R16 tyres to wide 7J rims will make the ride noticeably harder compared to fitting the 195/55R16 tyres to narrower 6J rims, such as 6Jx16 ET35 or 6Jx16 ET40. Using narrower 195/55R16 tyres on the 215/45R16 rims (ie. 7Jx16 ET46) will make the tyres look sunken into the wheelarch. The Rapid that is sold outside Europe fitted its 195/55R16 tyres to 6Jx16 ET40 rims. Bear in mind, that the 15" wheels on this Rapid use the same 185/60R15 tyres that the Fabia MK3 uses...so it is only the 16" wheel size that is different from the Fabia MK3, ie. the two cars aren't that dissimilar. Another problem with fitting 195/55R16 tyres to relatively 7J rims is that they don't provide much rim protection from kerbing damage because the sidewalls are stretched rather than bulging out. The below chart helps to explain this lack of protection from kerbing damage when fitting a 195/55R16 tyre size to a 7J rim. As you can see in the chart below, the 195/55R16 tyre size bulges out from the narrower 6J rim more than twice as much compared to fitting it to the wider 7J rim, ie. 12.3mm versus 5.6mm. Amount 195/55R16 tyre bulges out each side from rim 195/55R16 fitted to 6J rim width 12.3mm 195/55R16 fitted to 7J rim width 5.6mm As you can see in the ETRTO chart below, the 195/55R16 tyre size can be fitted to a rim width between 5.5" and 7"...with 6" being the standard rim width for this tyre size, and hence highlighted in bold. ETRTO approved rim widths for passenger car tyres 175/70R14 4.5-5.0-6.0 185/60R15 5.0-5.5-6.5 195/55R16 5.5-6.0-7.0 215/45R16 7.0-7.0-8.0

Winter tyre advice for Octavia VRS mk 3 facelift
Here's one 18" alloy rim option for the Octavia MK3. You can tell this alloy rim is from the Skoda accessory catalogue by the OEM part number, ie. it has a xxx071xxx format...whereas the alloy rims from the standard parts catalogue have a xxx601xxx format. Alloy rims from the Skoda accessory catalogue are about 60% less expensive than the xxx601xxx alloy rims. This is because Skoda are using their accessory catalogue to compete on price with aftermarket alloy rims. The alloy rims from the Skoda accessory catalogue will often be the same as the alloy rims from the standard catalogue (apart from the OEM part number cast into them), or maybe the same style but a different colour. The below 5E0071498G FL8 alloy rim is exactly the same as the 5E0601025AK FL8 alloy rim from the standard catalogue, including the same black metallic colour (ie. the same FL8 three digit colour code). 7.5Jx18 ET51 5/112 57.1 alloy rim GEMINI 5E0071498G FL8 (black metallic) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/alu-kolo-gemini-18-octavia-iii/p/5E0071498G+FL8

Alternative ‘Cheap’ Wheels for a VRS Estate?
17" rim specification for Octavia MK3 (when using 225/45R17 tyre size) 5/112 BCD (5 bolts holes spaced on a 112mm pitch circle diameter...often called Bolt Circle Diameter when used in conjunction with car wheels) 57.1 (57.1mm hub centre bore) ET45 to ET51 with the 225/45R17 tyre size (standard 17" rim sizes on the Octavia MK3 for 225/45R17 tyre size are 7Jx17 ET49 and 7.5Jx17 ET51) alloy rims are machined for wheel bolts with a ball type seat (aka spherical)...all VAG rims that will fit the Octavia MK3 will be machined to use this type of wheel bolt seat. Many aftermarket rims will be machined for the other common type of wheel bolt seat, which is the cone type wheel bolt seat (aka conical). BMW use this type of seat. Take a look in the Skoda accessory catalogue to see alloy rims with the standard 17" rim specifications for the Octavia MK3. Note that with the 225/45R17 tyre size, narrower 7J rims will provide slightly more protection from kerbing damage and a slightly better ride than fitting this tyre size to wider 7.5J rim. However, perhaps consider using the Scout 17" tyre and rim size, ie. 225/50R17 fitted to a 7Jx17 ET45 rim. This has much better rim protection from kerbing damage and ride comfort compared to the 225/45R17. It has a 1.5% bigger outside diameter than the slightly oversize 235/35R19 some some owners have fitted to their 19" rims. 7Jx17 ET49 alloy rim 5E0071497A 8Z8 (from Octavia MK3) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/alu-kola/c/alloyWheels?q=%3AscoreDesc%3AcarType%3AOctavia%2BIII%2B%282017%2B%29%3ArimDiameter%3A17%22&text=# 7Jx17 ET45 alloy rim 5E0071497F HA7 (from Octavia MK3) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/alu-kolo-nivalis-17-octavia-iii/p/5E0071497F+HA7 7Jx17 ET45 alloy rim 57A071497C 8Z8 (from Karoq) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/alu-kola/c/alloyWheels?q=%3AscoreDesc%3ArimDiameter%3A17%22%3AcarType%3AKaroq%2B%282017%2B%29

Options on Winter Alloys/wheels ?
The hub centre bore on aftermarket alloy rims are usually be too big, so spigots would be needed. The below 16" alloy rims from the Skoda accessory catalogue weigh about 9.5kg each. For comparison, the 17" alloy rims weigh about 11kg each and the 18" alloy rims weigh about 13kg each. One of the below alloy rims has a 7J rim width so as well as the standard 205/60R16 tyre size, the non-standard 225/55R16 could also be considered. There are two standard 225 tyre sizes on the Octavia MK4, ie. 225/45R18 and 225/40R19 but the 225/55R16 would give much better ride comfort and provide much better protection from kerbing damage. 16" alloy rims (for Octavia MK4) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/alu-kola/c/alloyWheels

Upgrading to Rear Vented Brakes
If you're going to keep the 253x10mm rear brake discs, perhaps use 314x30mm front brake discs (from Kodiaq) rather than 340x30mm. Bearing in mind, that the early Octavia MK3 VRS models used 272x10mm rear brakes discs to match their 340x30mm front brake discs. So a 314x30mm front and 253x10mm rear brake disc combination should be similar to a 340x30mm front and 272x10mm rear brake combination. One disadvantage of using 340x30mm front brake discs instead of 314x30mm front brake discs is that you can use 16" rims. Another disadvantage of using 340x30mm front brake discs instead of 314x30mm front brake discs is that they weigh about 1.4kg more, which is about 14.9% heavier. Yet another disadvantage of using 340x30mm front brake discs instead of 314x30mm front brake discs is that they tend to be about 40% more expensive. Both 314x30mm and 340x30mm front brake discs use the same TRW front brake calipers and front brake pads, so the difference in performance between the two isn't that great. 314x30mm front brake disc (9.4kg) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/brembo/8714198 340x30mm front brake disc (10.8kg) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/brembo/8714327?search=BREMBO+Brake+disc+(09.C306.11)

Replacing 16" wheels with 15"
As well as 185/60R15, you might also want to consider non-standard 16" wheels such as 195/55R16 fitted to 6Jx16 ET35 steel rims. 185/60R15 fitted to 6J rims and 195/55R16 fitted to 6J rim will have a similar ride quality...both are a big improvement over the hard riding 215/45R16 fitted to 7J rims. 195/55R16 is fitted to the Rapid (which is based on the Fabia MK3) in some markets outside of the EU where the low profile 215/45R16 isn't suitable for their poor roads. 195/55R16 is a common and inexpensive (for a 16" tyre) tyre size. As you can see in the chart below, 195/55R16 has a 3.0% bigger outside diameter compared to the standard 15" tyre size. Notice that surprisingly, the 16" Alcar 6664 steel rim is actually lighter than the 15" Alcar 7760 steel rim. Normally, 16" steel rims are heavier than 15" steel rims. Replacing 16" wheels with 15"
If you're getting the Alcar 7760 steel rims which have a specification of 6Jx15 ET38 5/100 57.1 there's at least three different sets of Skoda wheel trims shown in the Skoda accessory catalogue that are made to fit these rims...as shown below. By quoting the relevant OEM part number, ie. 5JA071455A or 5JA071455 or 6V0071455, these wheel trims can be ordered from any VAG parts department. I've shown the Czech online price, but the UK price might be slightly more. Alternative ‘Cheap’ Wheels for a VRS Estate?
With the 18" wheels running on low profile 225/40R18 tyres for the past 10 years, you might find that the rims are no longer round. Before forking out for a repaint, get them checked to make sure they aren't buckled, bent, damaged, out of round, etc. All of the early Octavia MK3 VRS models (petrol and diesel) have the big 340x30mm front brake discs, so need at least 17" rims to clear the front brake calipers. If you're looking for winter tyres, perhaps use 205/50R17 tyres which when fitted to 6Jx17 ET48 rims are approved for snow chains. If you don't need snow chains, an alternative non-standard rim for this 205/50R17 tyre size is 6.5x17 ET38 5/112 57.1 (from Kodiaq). 6Jx17 ET48 5/112 57.1 alloy rims CRYSTAL (205/50R17 when fitted to the Octavia MK3) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/alu-kola/c/alloyWheels?q=%3AscoreDesc%3ArimDiameter%3A17%22%3AcarType%3AOctavia%2BIII%2B%282017%2B%29&text=# Alcar 9021 6.5Jx17 ET38 5/112 57.1 steel rim (from Kodiaq) (205/50R17 when fitted to the Octavia MK3) https://www.mytyres.co.uk/rims/details?vehicleId=639488607098246256&rimCode=ALCAR9021 6.5Jx17 ET38 5/112 57.1 alloy rim NANUQ (from Kodiaq) (205/50R17 when fitted to the Octavia MK3) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/alu-kola/c/alloyWheels?q=%3AscoreDesc%3ArimDiameter%3A17%22%3AcarType%3AKodiaq%2BI%2B%282016-2024%29

Original wheel/rim characteristics
If you purchase a directional tyre, it will become either left or right...depending which way you fit it to the rim. Once fitted to a rim, a directional tyre will be either a left tyre or right tyre...it can't be both. So if you purchase a directional tyre that has been fitted to a rim so that it has become a left tyre, you would have to remove it from the rim and fit it the other way for it to become a right tyre, ie. a directional tyre can be either left or right but not both...depending which way it is fitted to a rim.

Felicia 1.6 front springs for 1.3 version
The Skoda parts catalogue shows that 6U0411105D is the standard front spring for the 1.3 petrol Felicia and 6U0411105E is the standard front spring for the 1.6 petrol Felicia. The Skoda parts catalogue lists a heavy-duty front spring with OEM part number 6U0411105D for the Felicia 1.3 petrol. This appears to be one weight range higher than the standard Felicia 1.3 petrol front spring, so could be used instead and shouldn't increase the unladen ride height...going by the below KYB RA2955 listing on autodoc. As well as KYB RA2955, Kilen 23107 and Lesjofors 4085708 should also match OEM part number 6U0411105D. Often, it's best not to purchase a spring that's sold to replace more than one OEM part number such as KYB RA2057. KYB RA2057 is sold to replace both 6U0411105E and 6U7411105B, and these are two different springs...so KYB RA2057 can't match both of these springs. I suspect it matches 6U0411105E but not 6U7411105B, due to its length of 362mm. However, if you do need a 6U0411105E front spring for a Felicia 1.6 petrol, it would be better to purchase Kilen 23103 or Lesjofors 4085703 because both of these front springs are only sold to replace 6U0411105E and no other OEM part number...so should both be an exact match to this OEM part number. Need advice on rim size
If you want to stick to 17" wheels rather than go down to 16", then 225/55R17 could be a good option. It should give a noticebly better ride than a similar 225/50R17 as shown in the example below. Felicia 1.6 front springs for 1.3 version
The OP is in Ukraine so might want increased ride height rather than lowered ride height. Perhaps look at fitting over-size tyres to increase the ride height. If 165/70R13 are currently fitted, consider 175/70R13, 155/80R13, 185/70R13, and 165/80R13. Outside diameter of tyre 165/70R13 561.2mm 175/70R13 575.2mm (2.5% bigger outside diameter compared to 165/70R13) 155/80R13 578.2mm (3.0% bigger outside diameter compared to 165/70R13) 185/70R13 589.2mm (5.0% bigger outside diameter compared to 165/70R13) 165/80R13 594.2mm (5.9% bigger outside diameter compared to 165/70R13) Increase in ride height compared to 165/70R13 175/70R13 7mm 155/80R13 8.5mm 185/70R13 14mm 165/80R13 16.5mm If 175/60R14 are currently fitted, consider 165/65R14, 185/60R14, 175/65R14, 165/70R14, and 185/65R14. Outside diameter of tyre 175/60R14 565.6mm 165/65R14 570.1mm (0.8% bigger outside diameter compared to 175/60R14) 185/60R14 577.6mm (2.1% bigger outside diameter compared to 175/60R14) 175/65R14 583.1mm (3.1% bigger outside diameter compared to 175/60R14) 165/70R14 586.6mm (3.7% bigger outside diameter compared to 175/60R14) 185/65R14 596.1mm (5.4% bigger outside diameter compared to 175/60R14) Increase in ride height compared to 175/60R14 165/65R14 2.25mm 185/60R14 6mm 175/65R14 8.75mm 165/70R14 10.5mm 185/65R14 15.25mm Out of the above oversize tyres, I would probably go for 175/65R14 fitted to 5Jx14 ET35 4/100 57.1 steel rims from the Citigo although the standard 14" Felicia rims could also be used. Notice that the below 14" steel rim from the Citigo is very lightweight at under 6kg. Need advice on rim size
One problem with the 225/55R17 is that they tend to be over-specified for the Yeti. Even the most powerful Yeti (170HP) doesn't have a top speed of over 130mph so doesn't need a higher speed rating than H...and it doesn't need to be XL if the standard load index is sufficient. If the Yeti doesn't have more than 125HP it probably can't go over 118mph...so would only need T-speed rated tyres...at least if they are winter rated such as all-season tyres with the 3PMSF symbol. The 3PMSF symbol means the tyre is winter rated. As you can see in the three examples below, the 225/55R17 is a W-speed rated tyre and is XL...whereas the other two tyre sizes are H-speed rated and aren't XL. Felicia 1.6 front springs for 1.3 version
The Skoda parts catalogue lists six different front springs and six different rear springs for the Felicia. However, as you have a Felicia 1.3 I suggest you go for 6U0411105D front springs and 6U6511115A rear springs for the hatchback version or 005055544 rear springs for the estate version. Kilen and Lesjofors are the largest manufacturer of aftermarket car springs in Europe. I've listed them below, but there are also many other aftermarket brands that are sold to replace the below three OEM part numbers. Some of the other brands might not be as good quality as Kilen and Lesjofors...and sometimes they won't even be a good match to the original springs...particularly when more than one OEM part number is listed against a particular aftermarket spring. I've linked to autodoc because that is a useful website for finding out what aftermarket springs are available, but prices are sometimes cheaper on ebay or other online sources. Skoda Karoq 16" Steel Wheel & Bridgestone Winter Tyre Set
It sounds like they are Audi A4 alloy rims, which although looking like the Audi A3 alloy rims use a different 7Jx16 ET42 specification rather than the 6.5Jx16 ET50 specification that the Audi A3 uses.

Skoda Karoq 16" Steel Wheel & Bridgestone Winter Tyre Set
In the owner's manual there's different advice depending on whether the Yeti is front wheel drive or 4x4. On the Yeti front wheel drive snow chains can only be fitted to the front wheels, and the tyres have to be those small outside diameter 205/55R16 or 205/50R17. There's also advice on the rim specification that these tyre sizes can be fitted to.

Spare wheel and accessories
The foam and jack kit for the Octavia MK4 has OEM part number 5E3093860B. By quoting this number, you can order from any VAG parts department. This includes everything except for the actual spare wheel, which can be obtained cheaply (from about £40) on ebay. The specification of the spare wheel is 125/70R18 3.5Jx18 ET25.5 5/112 57.1 which is the most popular size space saver spare wheel as they are fitted to a large number of VAG cars such as Golf MK5/MK6/MK7/MK8, and the various clones including the Octavia MK2/MK3/MK4. Even the Karoq and Superb MK3 uses this specification of space saver spare wheel. Foam and jack kit for Octavia MK4 (1,690CZK is about £52.99) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/sada-pro-vymenu-rezervniho-kola-18/p/5E3093860B

Skoda Karoq 16" Steel Wheel & Bridgestone Winter Tyre Set
If those are Audi A3 alloy rims, the specification will be 6.5Jx16 ET50 which is the same as the standard 16" rims on the Octavia MK2. The ET50 offset pushes the centre of the wheel/tyre 7mm further into the wheelarch compared to the standard 16" Karoq rim specification of 6Jx16 ET43. Outside diameter of tyre 215/50R18 672.2mm (Karoq front wheel drive tyre size) 225/45R19 685.1mm (Karoq 4x4 tyre size) 215/65R16 685.9mm (2.0% bigger outside diameter compared to 215/50R18) (0.1% bigger outside diameter compared to 225/45R19)

Skoda Karoq 16" Steel Wheel & Bridgestone Winter Tyre Set
Most Karoq owners will probably want to stick to standard tyre sizes, but there can be big differences in the price of different tyre sizes...and 225/60R16 tends to be an expensive tyre size. Therefore, looking at possible alternative tyre sizes to save money could lead to the below two 16" tyre sizes...ie. 215/65R16 and 235/60R16. Notice in the charts below how these two 16" tyre sizes have almost the same outside diameter as the standard 19" tyre size, ie. 225/45R19. The 215/65R16 tyre size could be fitted to the standard 16" rim, ie. 6Jx16 ET43...but the 235/60R16 would need to be fitted to a wider rim such as 7Jx16 ET45 (from the Yeti). Another benefit of sticking with 16" tyres, is that they tend not to be over-specified for the Karoq...ie. H speed rating and not XL (eXtra Load)...as in the example below of a Vredestein Quatrac tyre. It's nice to see that genuine Skoda wheel trims are still available for the 16" Yeti steel rims...as linked to below. These could be ordered from any VAG parts department by quoting OEM part number 5L0071456 Z31. The "skoda eshop cz" website are selling these for under £62 for a set of four, but the UK price might be slightly higher. Outside diameter of standard Karoq 4x4 tyres 225/60R16 676.4mm 225/55R17 679.3mm 225/50R18 682.2mm 225/45R19 685.1mm Outside diameter of two non-standard 16" Karoq 4x4 tyre sizes 215/65R16 685.9mm (0.1% bigger outside diameter compared to 225/45R19) 235/60R16 688.4mm (0.5% bigger outside diameter compared to 225/45R19) Alcar 9257 7Jx16 ET45 5/112 57.1 (from Yeti and Superb MK2) https://www.mytyres.co.uk/rims/details?vehicleId=182363349315490928&rimCode=ALCAR9257 Set of four wheel trims for 7Jx16 ET45 steel rims (from Yeti) 5L0071456 Z31 https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/sada-poklic-satellite-16/p/5L0071456++Z31 Vredestein Quatrac 235/60R16 100H (Euro label C B 71dB) (all-season tyre) (3PMSF) https://www.camskill.co.uk/m139b0s12008p201646/Vredestein_Tyres_All_Season_Car_Vredestein_Quatrac_6_235_60_R16_100H_TL_Fuel_Eff_%3A_C_Wet_Grip%3A_B_NoiseClass%3A_B_Noise%3A_71dB You can view the standard Karoq 4x4 alloy rim sizes on the "skoda eshop cz" website as linked to below...but I've listed them for convenience. Notice that the 7Jx16 ET45 Yeti steel rim has the same width and offset as the 17" and 18" rims on the Karoq 4x4. The non-standard 235/60R16 tyre size is like a ballooned version of the standard 17" Karoq 4x4 tyre size because it's one up in width and one up in aspect ratio, ie. 235/60R16 instead of 225/55R17 (but with the necessary 1" reduction in rim diameter to keep the outside diameter similar). Alloy rims for Karoq 4x4 (from Skoda accessory catalogue) 6Jx16 ET43 (for 225/60R16 tyre size) 7Jx17 ET45 (for 225/55R17 tyre size) 7Jx18 ET45 (for 225/50R18 tyre size) 8Jx19 ET45 (for 225/45R19 tyre size) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/alu-kola/c/alloyWheels?q=%3AscoreDesc%3AcarType%3AKaroq%2B%282017%2B%29&text=# For those that need mud performance, there's also the Yokohama AT (All-Terrain) tyre to consider. The Yokohama Geolandar AT G015 has the 3PMSF (3 Peak Mountain Snow Flake) symbol...so is winter rated. The 3PMSF symbol means that the tyre has passed a test for good traction in the snow. Being an All-Terrain tyre means that it should provide good traction in the mud. Yokohama Geolandar AT G015 235/60R16 100H (Euro label E C 72dB) (all-season tyre) (3PMSF) (All-Terrain tyre) https://www.camskill.co.uk/m62b0s425p148190/Yokohama_Tyres_Car_Yokohama_Geolandar_AT_G015_235_60_R16_100H_RPB_TL_Fuel_Eff_%3A_E_Wet_Grip%3A_C_NoiseClass%3A_B_Noise%3A_72dB When driving off-road it's beneficial to have plenty of sidewall height. So below is a chart comparing the sidewall height of the standard 16" and 17" tyre sizes on the Karoq 4x4...and two non-standard 16" tyre sizes. As you can see in the chart below only the 215/65R16 and 235/60R16 tyre sizes have over 5.5" of sidewall height...out of these four tyre sizes. Sidewall height (for off-road, more is better) 225/55R17 4.8" 225/60R16 5.3" 215/65R16 5.5" 235/60R16 5.5" When driving off-road it's beneficial to have plenty of sidewall bulge to help protect the rim from damage. In my view, at least 15mm of sidewall bulge is good but at least 18mm is excellent. So here again, the 235/60R16 tyre size beats the 225/55R17 tyre size. Amount of sidewall bulge when fitted to 7J rim width (for off-road, more is better) 225/55R17 15.6mm 235/60R16 19.1mm

Wheel Offset range
The standard 17" wheel specification on the Octavia MK3 Scout is 225/50R17 7Jx17 ET45 5/112 57.1 If it was me, I would consider using less offset if going to a narrower tyre such as 205/55R17 6.5Jx17 ET38 5/112 57.1 Notice that the below 205 tyre is 2dB quieter than the 225 tyre and with the narrower tyre being a 55 aspect ratio tyre rather than a 50 aspect ratio tyre the sidewalls will flex more easily and give a more comfortable ride. The below 205 tyre is also cheaper than the 225 tyre...and the narrower tyre will also do more mpg due to less weight and drag.
