Michelin crossclimate+ Vs Goodyear vector 4seasons gen-3
Vredestein are gradually replacing the Quatrac 5 with the Quatrac. The Quatrac now doesn't have a number, although I have noticed at least one online tyre seller incorrectly calling it the Quatrac 6. The replacement started last year and was due to finish this year. 15" sizes seem to have now gone over to the new Quatrac, but 14" sizes are still available in the old Quatrac 5 model.

Standard 16" Superb MK3 rims are 6.5Jx16 ET41. However, 6Jx16 ET40 could be used. Rear coil spring information / specifications request
Has your local Skoda dealer given you a price on standard shock absorbers, as that might be the way to go? The problem with most aftermarket shock absorbers is that there's usually a one size fits all approach. For example, Bilstein B4 22-151056 aren't just sold to replace 3C0413031AT but all of the following OEM part numbers (there are others). Bilstein B4 22-151056 3AA413031M 3C0413031AB 3C0413031AQ 3C0413031AS 3C0413031AT https://www.autodoc.co.uk/bilstein/632208 If you want a Bilstein B6 front shock absorber, the 35-122074 is being sold to replace all standard and sports front shock absorbers on the Superb MK2, as all the following OEM part numbers are listed (there are others) Bilstein B6 35-122074 3AA413031M 3C0413031AB 3C0413031AQ 3C0413031AS 3C0413031AT 3C0413031M 3C0413031N https://www.autodoc.co.uk/bilstein/1044402 Skoda Online Parts Catalogue for Superb MK2 Front Suspension http://www.oemepc.com/skoda/parts_lst/markt/CZ/modell/SUP/year/2016/hg/4/catalog/sk/drive_standart/768/lang/e

Wheel nuts?
Yes, 2.1 Bar front and 1.9 Bar rear is a good place to start. If you carry rear passengers and heavy luggage maybe 2.3 Bar front and 2.5 Bar rear, but do check the official Skoda recommendations.
-
Wheel nuts?
185/55R15 is a standard Citigo tyre size, not 185/60R15. If you have fitted oversize 185/60R15 tyres then you can use 185/55R15 tyre pressures or up to 0.2 Bar (3 psi) lower as the load index of 185/55R15 is 82 (475kg) and the load index of 185/60R15 tyres is 84 (500kg). If you don't have any rear passenger and heavy luggage, then maybe try 2 Bar (29 psi) front and 1.8 Bar (26psi) rear, although it's best to check the official Skoda recommendations.

Tyres - XL?
Non-XL 205/40R17 tyres have a load index of only 80 (450kg), which isn't enough for the Fabia MK2. Hence it was fitted with XL 205/40R17 tyres which have a load index of 84 (500kg). Not only that, but non-XL tyres in size 205/40R17 are extremely rare. Most of the big brands don't even make non-XL tyres in the 205/40R17 size. Tyres - XL?
According to wheel-size.com (and they are sometimes wrong), 235/45R18 tyres are pumped up to 2.4 Bar (35psi) / 2.2 Bar (32psi). You only need XL tyres if you are going to pump them up to more than 3 Bar (44psi). Steering wheel vibration on R19 wheels
If the rim is buckled, then no amount of wheel balancing weights will stop the vibration. Try a tyre fitter that can measure the rim runout (both vertical and horizontal/lateral) with the tyre off the rim (or maybe they can measure the rim runout with the tyre still fitted to the rim). I would guess that if the rim is buckled by more than about 0.5mm to 0.8mm, then no amount of balancing will stop the vibration felt at speed. 235/40R19 tyres have quite low sidewalls, so the rims will be far more prone to buckling when hitting potholes than rims fitted with 215/60R16 and 215/55R17 tyres.

Alloy Wheel Repair/Refurb Cheshire?
The problem with refurbishing rims is that if you need a replacement rim in the future it might not match the other rims, unless the refurbished rims have been carefully matched to the original finish. A 16" Scala/Kamiq rim could be used on the Octavia MK1 RS model, then you would have the old rims to sell. Many people need single rims when one gets damaged, so that could be the way to maximise resale value with the old rims. A single rim is also easier to post. The below rim is claimed to weigh 9.4kg. The narrow 6J width helps protect the rim from kerbing damage when fitted with a 205/55R16 tyre, as the narrower rim makes the sidewalls bulge out more. 6Jx16 ET35 5/100 57.1 Alloy Rim from Scala/Kamiq https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/kolo-z-lehke-slitiny-nanuq-16-pro-scala-kamiq/p/654071496B+8Z8

For a cheaper tyre size, oversize 215/65R16 could be used on the Superb MK3, but not the 272HP/280HP 4x4 version as that model uses 340mm diameter front disc brakes so needs at least 17" wheels to clear the front brake calipers. Winter wheels
6.5Jx17 ET41 and 7Jx17 ET40 are standard options on the Superb MK3. https://www.wheel-size.com/size/skoda/superb/2020/ There's also a 6.5Jx17 ET38 rim from the Kodiaq that will fit, but don't use Kodiaq tyre sizes as the outside diameters are too big. https://www.oponeo.pl/felga-stalowa/alcar-kfz-9021#21964794

Wider tyres
Most Octavia MK3s use 7Jx17 rims as you can see from the below link. https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/hlinikove-disky/c/alloyWheels?sort=priceAsc&q=%3AscoreDesc%3AcarType%3AOctavia%2BIII%2B%282017%2B%29&show=Page# If you do have 7J rims, then the 235/45R17 size is not an allowed fitment as you need at least a 7.5J rim according to the tyre industry body called ETRTO (European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation). VW/Skoda online parts catalogue http://www.oemepc.com/skoda/part_single/catalog/sk/markt/CZ/modell/OCT/year/2016/drive_standart/753/hg_ug/601/subcategory/601070/part_id/2543668/lang/e In any case, 235/45R17 won't significantly improved ride comfort compare to 225/45R17. For a noticeably better ride, you need to go down to 205/55R16 wheels. The Toyo link below shows that you need a rim at least 7.5J for the 235/45R17 tyre size. The tyre manufacturers don't decide what rim width any given tyre size can be fitted to, as that's ETRTO's job. Build code 1ZE = TRW calipers http://www.oemepc.com/skoda/part_single/catalog/sk/markt/CZ/modell/FAB/year/2012/drive_standart/697/hg_ug/615/subcategory/615015/part_id/2547315/lang/e TRW Front Brake Pads 7 6RU698151 Cancelled since 01.09.2014 1 set of brake pads for disk brake D >> - 01.04.2012 (7) 6RU698151A 1 set of brake pads for disk brake D - 02.04.2012>> Build code 1ZG = ATE calipers http://www.oemepc.com/skoda/part_single/catalog/sk/markt/CZ/modell/FAB/year/2012/drive_standart/697/hg_ug/615/subcategory/615016/part_id/2550123/lang/e ATE Front Brake Pads 15 6R0698151A 1 set of brake pads for disk brake Model data: PR-1ZG,1LR Both the TRW and ATE versions use the same front brake discs 6R0615301. 10 6R0615301 brake disc (vented) Model data: PR-1ZE 11 6R0615301 brake disc (vented) Model data: PR-1ZG,1ZJ

Karoq 4x4 spare wheel kit
215/65R16 has the same outside diameter as 225/45R19, so maybe use that as a spare. It's got to be better than a 125/70R18.

Octavia MkIII brake disc and pads required
Not all the build codes are on the boot sticker. All Octavia MK3 2.0TSI RS cars have 340mm diameter front brake discs. Octavia MK3 2.0TSI RS Front Brake Pads 8V0698151C 10 8V0698151C 1 set: brake pads with wear indicator for disc brake 340X30MM Octavia MK3 2.0TSI RS Front Brake Discs 1K0615301AD 12 1K0615301AD brake disc (vented) 340X30MM 5X112 I would go for EBC DPX2127 brake pads with the 340mm diameter front brakes https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263099668139?epid=249579955&hash=item3d41f656ab%3Ag%3AJKwAAOSwvZZZcaBd&LH_ItemCondition=3 If you don't know much about EBC brake pads, there's a youtube video that takes a tour of the factory. They are a British success story. Jonny Smith from The Late Brake Show Takes a Tour of EBC Brakes’ HQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeB76-_Etig

Octavia MkIII brake disc and pads required
The 288mm and 253mm brakes are both TRW. OEM part number for the front brake pads is 8V0698151 http://www.oemepc.com/skoda/part_single/catalog/sk/markt/CZ/modell/OCT/year/2016/drive_standart/753/hg_ug/615/subcategory/615020/part_id/2550123/lang/e OEM part number for the rear brake pads is 5Q0698451A http://www.oemepc.com/skoda/part_single/catalog/sk/markt/CZ/modell/OCT/year/2016/drive_standart/753/hg_ug/615/subcategory/615060/part_id/2550123/lang/e These OEM numbers can help with finding suitable aftermarket replacements.

Karoq 4x4 spare wheel kit
It looks like the space saver is 125/70R18 https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/kompletni-rezervni-kolo-18/p/57A601011E 125/70R18 has an outside diameter of 632.2mm 225/45R19 has an outside diameter of 685.1mm So the 225/45R19 has an outside diameter 8.4% bigger than the space saver. The difference seems far too much as the 125/70R18 will be rotating much faster than the other three tyres. Maybe use a 135/80R18 which has a 673.2mm outside diameter. The outside diameter of a 225/45R19 tyre is only 1.7% bigger than a 135/80R18. https://www.mytyres.co.uk/search?sortCode=none&minPrice=&maxPrice=&season=So&width=135&profile=80&size=18&speedRating=&loadIndex=&brand=&priceCategory=recommended&isRunflat=&reinforced=&cTire=&rimProtection=&sealLayer=&noiseReduction=&businessReviews=false&clientReviewsRating=&vehicleTypes=PKW&vehicleTypes=RACE_PKW&vehicleTypes=LLKW&vehicleTypes=VINTAGE_PKW&vehicleTypes=OFF The 135/80R18 could be fitted to the same 3.5Jx18 ET25.5 rim as the 125/70R18 tyre. OEM part numbers for 125/70R18 space saver tyre fitted to 3.5Jx18 ET25.5 5/112 57.1 steel rim. 1K0601027AP 1K0601027B
