2019 Superb 206 vs 2019 Golf R
https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2021-skoda-superb-206tsi-sportline-auto-4x4-my21/OAG-AD-20254563/?Cr=0 I'm not sure whether it is able to order a new Sportline with the leather seat optional now, since the 'build a Skoda' function on Skoda AU has been disappeared for quite a long time.

2019 Superb 206 vs 2019 Golf R
Do you need backseat space? If not, go for a Golf R. Here in OZ, Golf R's resale value is much much higher than a Skoda Superb. Regarding to the seat, I do believe Skoda AU offers ventilated leather seats options on Sportline, at least offerd early last year. I remember I did see some demo Sportlines with leather seats on carsales.

New 19” tyres required, which ones
Pilot Sport 4 might just be the best all round summer tyre. It has a perfect balance between performance and comfort. Falken FK510 is another good choice. Similar performance than PS4, but a much lower price. Recently I find P Zero PZ4, in 245/40/19 94W with seal inside tech is super cheap here in Australia, at about $160-170 per corner. As contrasts, PS4 priced at $280, FK510 is about $210, PZ4 98Y without seal inside tech is more than $300. According to the EU label, the cheaper version PZ4 has a noice level at 68dB, so it should as be very quite. The only concern is P Zero’s sidewall is always very very very soft. I have seen dozens of P Zero owners compliant about it.

New alloy wheels, need your help.
I pulled the trigger towards a set of Koya SF10 in satin gunmetal last night. Matte black is sweet, but any curb or scratch will be super obviously.

Actually the one in Super Rootbeer is SF10 too, but wider and with more aggressive offset.

Thanks all guys, seems gunmetal one is more popular. Since I still want to have some lightweight wheels, I might just order a set of Koya in gunmetal.

How is the noise and how is it solved from the fuel lines?
On the right side of the car. The wheel shown on the right bottom coner of the pic is the right front wheel of the car. You don't have to remove the cover completely, just remove the screw on the outside of the cover, then you should have enough room to do the job.

New alloy wheels, need your help.
Hi all, Merry Christmas! I am going to change my wheels and tyres early next year. Currently I'm planning to buy a set of Fk510 or Pilot Sport 4, depands on any discount offer I can find that time, size in 245/40/R19. But I'm stuck at the which wheels should I buy now. I'm shortlisted Niche Misano M116/M117 and Koya SF10. Niche M116 and M117 shared the same design, but M116 is matte gunmetal, M117 is matte black. They are 1-piece casting wheels, weight is 11.8KG per corner (19*8.5 et34). Price is about 360 AUD per corner (230 EUR). Koya is an Australian local alloy wheel brand, it produces flow forged and 1-piece forged wheels. Flow forged wheel priced at $540 per corner (345 EUR), weight sould be less than 9kg. All the Koya wheels are fully customized, currently I'm planning to get a set sized in 19*8.5 et35, colored in Satin black. Personally I don't like gloss black wheels, but I'm ok with matte or satin black. I do like gunmetal wheels a lot, but I also feel black wheels suit all the black trims on my car more, and black wheels make red brake caliper pop-out a lot (my brake caliper was painted into red). But there is a problem for any matte or satin black wheels, it is our car's front brake pad. The front brake pad produces so much dust! However it is not a problem for the gunmetal wheels. Gunmetal wheels covered by brake dust, are still gunmetal🤪 I photoshoped all three wheels on my car, please let know which do you think looks the best! Niche Misano M116 (up one) and M117 (bottom) Koya SF10, satin black, design similar to HRE P101. Koya's color list:

The Superb III Picture thread
Well, that's right. Aussies just like white, silver, gray, and black cars. Check the cars in the background, Most of them are white, silver, and black. Only one red car in the background.

Some days, I absolutly love the velvet red. But on some other days, I just wish I got a black car at the beginning. Photoshopped to black

I feel my velvet red Superb has a very soft paint. It is super easy to get scratches and swirls. Definitely softer than my previours Japanese cars. Even my Infiniti Q50, a car is famous for soft paint, was tend to perform better than my Superb.

That's a Chinese character (or Japanese Kanji, basically the same thing) '赤', which means red. And obviously, my car is red.

Sorry for the late reply. That's only a decoration, so basically it is nothing. I feel the C pillar is a little bit too wide and a little bit boring for my taste.

Vibration noise at 1800 RPM - Skoda Superb L&K 2017
Sound like typical fuel hose rattle. It is a quite common problem in VAG MQB platform cars.

Washed and waxed yesterday. I use turtle wax ceramic wash, 303 touchless sealant, and Bowden's own carnauba wax. It is super clean and super shine now.

I believe 3fh is for FL sportline, Pre-FL spoline should be NY5: https://www.oemvwshop.com/3v0857053a-ny5-cover-for-instrument-housing-maze-black-skoda-superb-3v-p2263506/ I bought it last December, which was 100% fit for my 2018 sportline.

Dragon Green
Australia had this color few years ago as a limited color. But, well, Australia is RHD too, and not part of EU.

Wrapped roof in my garage this afternoon, took me 2 hours to finish the job Use 3M 2080 metalic black vinyl, together with 3M knifeless tape. Not a perfect job, some bubbles in the pic. The 3M metalic black vinyl looks good, but it is not as black as the sunroof and the oringal paint on the car . And it cannot be stretched as a normal black vinyl, the color going to fade if stretch too much, see below left. I might replace it with normal gloss black vinyl someday in the future, but so far I'm ok with it. I also wrapped fog light frame too, a bit like the fog light frame addon listed on superskoda.

nearly new or new
I always buy near new cars, in the other word, demo cars. I got my fully loaded 206 sportline (top-trim in Australia) with one year old and 7000kms on the clock. It cost me 38k AUD. A new one with all the options cost more than 60k AUD (60k for the car plus 1700 sunroof and 1100 velvet red paint). My car came with 4 years remaining factory warranty, and two years national wide free service as well. If the car runs perfectly after it run out the warranty period, I might keep it for another few years. If not, I might simply rip it off and buy another demo car.
